About the Speaker:
Gaven Kerr is a married father of three and a third order Dominican. He has degrees in scholastic philosophy and philosophy from Queen’s University Belfast: BA, MPhil, and PhD. His doctoral research was on the thought of Thomas Aquinas and Immanuel Kant. Gaven currently teaches theology at Mary Immaculate College Limerick.

Started collecting music in 1956 with my 45 rpm copy of “Heartbreak Hotel” b/w “I Was the One” (the latter was my favorite and has remained in the  top ten of my personal picks of his oeuvre), and I have fed my music jones ever since from every modern western genre except opera. Current rotation includes the various Beatles remixes, random selections from Buckethead’s life works, golden age (old school?)progressive and melodic trance, remixes of Bizarre Love Triangle, Xylaruus, new American reggae, remixes and mashups of Daft Punk, certain ShaniaTwain Songs and remixes, international shuffle dance videos, more later.
