"Of the hundreds of up-and-coming producers we’ve worked with over the past four years of FatKidOnFire, there have been a number we’ve known have been destined for great things. Compa, Perverse, Wayfarer, Kaiju, The Illuminated, Chord Marauders - just a few of the artists we’ve worked with who have gone on to rise through the ranks of bass music. When we discovered a 17 year old Parisian late last year, a producer who’d only been making music six months or so, we knew Argo was another artist to add to our must-watch list.

"We’ve been working with Arnaud since the summer of 2013, after hearing Asylum (a tune that’s seen support from a number of respected tastemakers including Chestplate founder Distance). We've followed Argo as he found his feet, helping him create a signature sound that has caught the attention of producers, DJs and fans alike. Bass'Flo & Ziyal - Looking Back At Life (OUT NOW)

Blocks and Escher give us their debut 12” for Metalheadz, hot on the heels of the pair’s contribution to the Platinum Breakz 4 album which was called ‘Madness’. This release is the archetypical Headz sound. Blocks and Escher have an uncanny ability to capture the golden age aesthetic whilst moving head first toward the future.

‘Moods’ begins with an introspective edge, with soothing vocals and pads set against rugged breaks. The track soon morphs into a sub bass roller however the mood soon changes and the track turns into a darker affair with mentasms and mid-range basses working with and  against one another, the track is a journey through calm and storm in a way in which only Blocks and Escher could do.
