Amazing! I like all of it except the first two stanzas, because the norn do still have the mountains. The bit about how they've lost their homelands did the same thing better :) Otherwise, amazing song, and brilliant thought. As a writer I appreciate this theme as well!

Notes:  While the Norn are generally a hopeful people and canonically most of them believe they will someday defeat Jormag and take back the Far Shiverpeaks, as a writer I wanted to explore what the underside of that looked like.  For a race with such strong connections to the past, how would they feel about the loss of their ancestral home?  On long cold nights around a fire, where is hope then?

Here's the first unreleased track of the ones i'll be releasing over the coming weeks. I've been sitting on this one for over a year. Had no place for it on any album and didn't want to release it as a full single. Experimented with a lot of fun basslines. Enjoy!
