The last weeks, I was into classical guitar music...enjoying playing music of F.Sor, Carulli... so this song became a more classical piece.

The Vanilla Bourbon Band, eine Mischung aus härteren, mitreißenden Rocknummern und zuckersüßen Akustik-Rock-Songs mit viel Drive und jeder Menge Herzschmerz - eben wie Vanille und Bourbon.
Eine Melange aus Emotion und Härte mit Elementen von gestern, heute und morgen, zusammengerührt zu einem explosiven Gemisch. Eine in klassischer Rockbesetzung vorgetragene Reise durch viele Facetten des täglichen Lebens und der Phantasie ohne Umtauschrecht.

DIE MANNSCHAFT:

Gegründet 2005 als Spaßprojekt-Trio von Thorsten Jacob (Ex-Red Aim), Lars Kremer und Thorsten Neu (Ex-Meskalin) nahm die Vanilla Bourbon Band Anfang 2007 langsam Fahrt auf. Mitte 2008 wird Jan Rinderspacher (Ex-Starklub) adoptiert, um ihm ein Leben außerhalb der Gosse zu ermöglichen (just kidding). 
Für eine nicht näher genannte Ablösesumme ersetzt Timm Richter (Ex-Gough) Ende 2008 Lars Kremer. 

2008 entsteht auch ein Bandfeature im Rahmen der Radio-Sendereihe "Starthilfe" von Unser Ding 103,7 (Saarländischer Rundfunk). Den Stream der Sendung kann man sich hier anhören: VBB@Unser Ding

Neben zahlreichen (auch überregionalen) Auftritten folgt für die Vanilla Bourbon Band im Sommer 2009 das Festival-Highlight der Saison als Support Act für Größen wie Silbermond, Reamonn, Bosse, Van Velzen und Jennifer Kae. Gegen eine harte Konkurrenz konnte sich die Vanilla Bourbon Band im Rahmen eines von Radio bigFM Saarland veranstalteten Bandcontest durchsetzen und vertrat das Saarland auf dem renommierten Terres Rouges Festival in Luxemburg. Auch wurde die Vanilla Bourbon Band über eine Woche lang täglich auf Radio bigFM „Homerun“ gefeatured.

2014 hat Jan die Band aufgrund anderer musikalischer Interessen verlassen. 

Bis 2016 haben die Vanillaz an einer EP gearbeitet, die bis heute leider nicht veröffentlicht wurde. 

Heute existiert die Vanilla Bourbon Band leider nicht mehr ... Thorsten Jacob hat sich neuen Projekten gewidmet (u.a. Silbergerät), und Timm Richter trommelt für seine Band Bronson Norris, für die er auch sehr erfolgreich Produzenten- und Engineering-Aufgaben übernommen hat.
