Urusen are a London-based indie folk band and are currently working on an album with producer Steve Osborne (Elbow, KT Tunstall, PJ Harvey, Happy Mondays) due for release in 2011.

They have a publishing deal with Realworld and in 2010 performed at numerous festivals across the UK including Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Larmer Tree and 2000 Trees.

Among their plaudits they have been selected as a highlight pick by the The Independent in their top ten gigs of the week, as 'Sweepingly memorable' by Metro, as 'Terrifically atmospheric' by the Telegraph and as 'British breakthrough talent' by Music Week.

Peter co-founded the group Genesis in 1966 at school. He went on to make 7 albums with Genesis. He left in 1975, but returned to music a year later, since when he has made 11 solo albums. His film soundtrack works include Birdy (1984); The Last Temptation of Christ (1989); Rabbit Proof Fence (2002).
