SOLID TRUTH is on a mission to enlighten, inspire, uplift and empower by sharing motivational, inspirational, educational, and entertaining content globally. She is currently a Teaching Artist with Poetry Promise Inc, a nonprofit in Las Vegas, NV and also an advocate for Domestic Violence Prevention and Awareness on behalf of SAFE House of Nevada. 

Solid Truth is a Motivational Speaker, Performing Artist, Event hostess, Virtual Speaker, Multimedia Content Creator, Writer, Author and Performance Poet. SOLID TRUTH  is currently based in Las Vegas, NV. She has been performing for almost 20 years, but looks forward to speaking and traveling worldwide. 

As an Empowerment Coach, Solid specializes in creating  programs, performances and workshops for domestic violence survivors, trauma victims, veterans, mental health sufferers, addicts, and those who have low or diminished self-esteem.

Emilia T Davis was born and raised in San Francisco Ca. She currently resides in Houston, TX area. She is a Mother and has had a divorce from a 30-year failed marriage.

Her interest in POETRY began when in Jr. High school she was introduced to creative writing classes.
She went on to Phoenix University where she obtained a bachelor’s in business with creative writing courses 
She began to strongly dedicate herself and in 2012 she burst onto the poetry scene. 
She published her book Purple Unicorn with Lulu.com books in July
She won the World Poetry contest and her Poem My Addition was Published
She wrote and recorded “That man there” and “Thunder and Music” with producer DJ Hugg
She wrote “Answer to Lady” performed and produced by DJ Hugg
She co-wrote “Why I love you” with Skeet Da Yung Poet produced by DJ Hugg
All recording were recorded in November 2012
Was a Co-Host of a woman’s internet radio talk show: The Phenomenal Woman on BlogTalkRadio.com/The Butterfly Effect
 
Started Poet’s for the power of the nearly 6,200 people poetry group in July’2013 devoted to helping the underclass poets using not only words but actions to help others the group has nearly 6,200 members to date
In December 2012 She was named poet’s poet in world’s poetry contest and an entire page was devoted to her poetry
Also in December 2012 Thunder and Music was placed on Reverb nation entering at 3rd in the Houston market. It is was 1st place for 6 months in the Houston market place and made it to 21 in the Nation.
She was also published in a Poetry Magazine called: HARBINGER ASYLUM in December 2012 for her poem “LEARNING” and also again, in their Anthology edition for February 2013 for her poem “Flying High” 
She is a survivor of domestic abuse She is a strong advocate for the cause She wrote a poem called “the storm” which was read on c-span in October’2000. She also participated in an internet radio broadcast: Si-lence The abused domestic violence event Angels in Distress, transiting from Domestic Violence In January’2013 
Emilia is also an advocate of Civil Liberties and her name is written in stone in Montgomery Alabama. In recognition of her contribution to the ongoing fight against hated and intolerance in America. Her name was added to the wall of tolerance to provide inspiration to all. This honor was given by founder Morris Dea’s of the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Her poem The Lion was adopted by Sigma Pi Mu Fraternity, Inc and has been awarded by this fraternity in 2017
 
 
She has been the subject of two published on line magazine articles about her life, one in 2013 and again in 2015
 
She was the State P.O.E.T representative for Blaq Ice, from 2014-2015
She developed and is an administrator of three poetry groups on Facebook., Since 2013
Was a Co-host of Voices behind the pen radio show on P.O.E.T Radio, From 2014-2015
Previous Host of FABULOUS FRIDAYS, on P.O.E.T Radio, From 2014-2015
She appeared as a Featured Poet at Odd Thursday’s at Happy Fun Land, Houston TX
Poetry published in ANTHOLOGIES: Black Male-D 2015, The poetry Posse 2016 and was a featured Poet in that edition, Why Poetry Matters 2017
 
She continues to evolve and work with poets and movements that unite people and plans to produce more spoken word tracks and poetry
To date she continues to appear on many Internet Poetry Radio shows, both on Blog Talk and Talkshoe

She was born in TN on May 8. She is a Military brat, she started writing Poem's when I was 17. Never hear of online radio and people speaking their Poetry everywhere, online radio by calling in on the phone, live ( that is my next step, once I get some better) So this is a new world to her. Been through the hard life for sure as so many others have. It was a passion then and it's still there never left me. So please bare with me as I am working hard on this.
