Well I was going to release a track every month, but good old brain problems bungled that one on the first hurdle. Haha musicians am I right. Anyway time to get back on that horse.

I started this in October and ended up spending months on it, which is unlike me. But it's a hype, weird, acid and hardcore dance track for parties, and I'm very pleased with the energy I got out of this. Are you pleased with it? Did you notice the gamer reference with the vocals? Did you notice the anime reference in the art? I didn't can someone explain them to me

From the mid-1990s to early 2000s, SIESTE—widely recognized as Japan’s first female hardcore producer—was a central figure in the country’s early hardcore techno scene. As part of the pioneering “Jap Hardcore Masterz Team” and resident DJ at the legendary party Ebola of Gabba, she helped shape the foundations of Japanese Hardcore culture.

GO BACK TO SLEEEEEP, her long-overdue best-of cassette from MURDER CHANNEL, compiles rare tracks digitized from DAT tapes, originally released on Japanese and European labels. From metal-infused hardcore anthems to illbient experiments and unlikely collaborations, the album captures SIESTE’s fearless and genre-defying spirit.

The cassette features design by GraphersRock, using a photo of SIESTE’s handmade record box to evoke the raw energy of ‘90s Japanese rave culture. A download code includes bonus remixes by Noize Creator and HAMMER BROS.

SIESTE’s sound remains as uncompromising and visionary as ever—still challenging, still vital.
