Standing on the Edge

Ritual of Blood and Glory- Palace of the Fathers (2015)

A Ritual of Blood and Glory follows the victory over the soldiers by a massive blood sacrificial display of power of the fallen soldiers.

A clear attempt to make a mockery of their souls and insult the Gods.

 The beings stand on silent ellipsis

 The knife in hand to heart betrothed

The Haunted Forest- Palace of the Fathers (2015)

After the epic battle against the storm all the survivors were left stranded in a forest plagued by the souls of the wicked.

A final purging process in an epic twist where the blood God was behind the storm, all part of his plan to wean out the weakest warriors.

A Plea to the Endless- Palace of the Fathers (2015)

A Plea to the Endless follows the pleads of the Gods to one another to not accept defeat against the cursed warriors.

The music follows a very classical flow to suit the mood for higher beings plotting against their imminent threat.

Palace of the Fathers is a concept album that binds the metaphorical implications of living in a society where there is a small amount of very powerful and rich oppressors who set the rules and create the mechanistic system of worshiping materialism. 

Greek mythological figures are used to create our own story where a group of rogue warriors attempt to over throw the power enforced on them. The structure is melodic but focuses on technicality and classical, with a slight progressive influence to create an atmosphere of anarchy. 

Palace of the fathers promises to give you a unique and raw experience within the realm of fantasy. Thank you for your support and enjoy the album, make it spread like a disease \m/

Thread of Omen began performing in 2013 in Cape Town, South Africa. Palace of the Fathers (10-track album) was released in February 2015, followed by a series of live performances including local support for Aborted (Belgium)

Early 2016 saw the release of Glory of What? the first single from Vindicata, released February 2017. The single was followed by In Die Luminis and Oerbeeldsgebed along with a pro-shot live performance video from Metal 4 Africa's Winterfest '16.
