This is the recording of the ambient/experimental electronics liveset I did during the Focus Luistersessies x Pelagic Ambient on the 3d of September in the KODA in Schiedam. 

Expect dreamy tinkling synths, ambient drones, layered sparsely with some of my own improvised vocals. The set was specifically prepared for this event. I loved doing this set because it gave me the opportunity to also play a lot more slower and more dreamy stuff, compared to the usual, a lot more banging and energetic livesets I do. 

For the gear nerds out there, this liveset was half-improvised, half prepared in terms of patterns and notes. I used the following gear: 

- Octatrack (for some droney stems, sparse percussion and melodic layers, and as the performance mixer) 
- Digitone (for the pads, melodic elements and also to synthesize some of the percussion elements. 

Besides this i also used some modular FX (mimeophon and data bender, mainly to glitch out the vocals) and a Grandmother with a Snazzy Wow & Flutter pedal to layer an additional melodic element at times. 

All this goes into the OTO Boum for some warmth and as a little bit of mastering.

In the early '90s, Ático Corp. (@aticocorp) delved into electronic music, transitioning from eurodance to electro, techno, and breakbeat. By 2000, vinyl collecting and music production became his passions, culminating in a debut 12" on Hardware in 2005 and the inception of his netlabel, Shoxcorp. After a brief hiatus, Ático Corp. returned in 2010, co-founding UFC (Un Futuro Creíble) with R.I.P. Bestia in 2020—a vinyl-focused label championing their distinctive blend of breaks, electro, trance, and cyberdelia. Welcome back to the December edition of the Gated podcast!
We're super happy to welcome Feryne this month, with a delicious set of varied tunes from the electro/acid/idm/techno realms.
A self-admitted music freak, Feryne has mixed her fave electro, idm and techno tracks since 2005. She's played at the many clubs and festivals of Hungary (Kontra, Wndrlnd, Corvintető, Müszi, Kuplung, R33, Egál, S.U.N festival, Ozora ect...) and other countries, like Germany, Croatia, Slovakia, Austria, Romania, France and of course the Netherlands (Drift Festival, Het Nest Festival, ADE etc).
She is currently based in Nijmegen (NL) and is also a resident DJ at
Nijmegen’s very own Open Source Radio.

We also have some new bits to start from Gated and a class release from Featherstone too from his recent EP for the Ernest's way label.
