Sigourney Discs presents its third release following BACK by Dark Vektor and CZ200 by PLOM. Rinse Repeat is the new EP from Barcelona-based French producer La Fraicheur and Berlin-based French producer Leonard de Leonard. 

The Rinse Repeat EP shows the duo’s wide spectrum of love affairs with techno’s rich universe of sounds and moods. The title track Rinse Repeat is built around a raspy and ever-evolving playful acid bassline with added drama from sound Design and distorted glitchy gimmicks. Mind The Step is taking the sound design-induced drama a step further with a slow burning spacious and epic cavernous fantasmagoria that flips itself on the head half way through, becoming a vengeful track driven by a menacing yet groovy gritty bassline.

Rounding up the EP is the apt-titled Fairies Bootcamp. Ethereal and eerie skidding melodies balance out a grounded martial rhythm as if you had, on a forest walk, stumbled upon an army of fairies in a training camp caught mid-flight arming themselves to take their land back. The soundtrack of a supernatural call for arms.

On remix duty, Sigourney Discs co-founder Yandira leaves the war behind to focus on the otherworldly elements of Fairies Bootcamp and offers a trippy floaty dreamstate rendition for open airs and early morning rising suns.

Member of the IWOU crew and Sonartek, Italian producer NK aka Niki Ilb is back with a new release for Bebop Records. 

He co-created the Bebop label alongside longterm friend and collaborator Miki a year ago as he was coming with new music productions. As he sent them to Miki, they came up with the idea of a new label to release those last tracks. The name Bebop then arose from the strong jazz contamination Niki's music has.

As Bebop 001 was a strong break piece with a less club-oriented mood, they decided to go with some tracks for the club for the second record. Bebop 002 is a four-tracker EP that resonates between deep and dark, groovy and energised. Most of the tracks were recorded last summer, during the post-covid period and re-openings of clubs and parties. Honne music vinyl strikes again with a new solid and diverse various artists compilation. A1 goes by our Chicago friends Ciphr (Max Jacobson and Christian Thomas)with some jazzy grooves and a hypnotic saxophone melody that can blow your head off, A2 in charge of the San Diego gem producer John Manhard, soft house masterpiece, his way of processing sounds is something that still has us shocked, the sound in this track will make you realize the great work he dedicates in post production, B1 is a full futuristic vibe with some sick electro arpeggios layers over the track, great tune as always by the italian prodigy Riciar Ghir, perfect for starting the dancefloor move.
On the B2 as always we have someone from the honne music family and we can not be more than happy with the vinyl debut of our beloved Costa that has given us a track in which you can feel all the fury and desire to raise his hand and tell the world that he is ready for everything involved in the music production, this is a perfect track for peak hr time.

My first house track I fully produced by myself, without any midi clips or samples, all the elements I composed all the notes and everything in ableton live. 

I started with the house synth pad chords I used one of the synth pads from the arturia plug in for ableton live. 

then I added the first drums which I made a simple "P-ch-P-ch"

then I added in two bass lines which is my favorite part of the song,

then added another drums that had more snares, and a third drums with some bongos/congas/shakers for an organic touch

then composed a second arturia synth and added that in, 

the vocals are mine recorded on my phone (im going to replace them once I buy a better microphone) 

I know this track could be more finished but I am also just excited to share my artistic journey as teaching myself how to produce house music on my own.

Also the backing art is by me- watercolor and marker on paper.
