This week’s episode is an Untitled takeover, with a 2-hour voyage between the dubby, deep house, acid, break-beat, stripped back, and dreamy tech. We kick things off in the first half with the lovely Berlin-based Farhan, who comprises one half of Equus and is head of the Untitled party crew in Toronto, whose vivid selections encompass a wide range of colour and expertise as a dance-floor curator. Along from being one of Toronto’s hardest working promoters and DJ’s, I have also the utmost respect for the amazing work Farhan puts in championing social issues and LGBTQ+ rights. 

We at microminimal are thrilled to hear him put together a set with such tonal variety that still encompasses the groovy, booty-shaking house vibes as well as the entrancing minimal pulse. I had a great time following suit in the second hour with some old favourites in my record bag and my “all over the place” approach to genre-bending mixing. We’ll be playing the Night Shift party at One Loft on December 18th, where I’m much looking forward to trading off a bit with him b2b.
