Welcome to our 21st installment, to start fresh this 2023 with our Audiologia project, founding resident Artro presents Héctor Román, founder of the Minimal US project in collaboration with Roberto Oliveros, an emerging talent on the Guatemalan scene, a growing community of disc jockeys and producers to delight us with an exquisite selection that sculpts minimalist soundscapes for a peculiar sphere loaded with dark flavors that envelop and connect the senses through subtle sounds. We are very excited about this selected artists from the Central American community. 

This session was recorded at Trial Und Error Studio inside Sala Sinestesia Record Store/Studio in San José, Costa Rica while Héctor & Roberto where visiting the BPM Festival in Tamarindo.

Hello all, 

Merry Xmas everyone! We thought about giving you a Christmas set and we chose one of our own and a very special recording from this summer. 

The setting was an usual one but under unusual circumstances. Think the Sunwaves beach stage but then think Covid and social distancing. This was a 3 days party under conditions so unnatural to us all. He did the very last set on Sunday and we have,  between organisers, crowd and artists, managed to stick together and via braving through conditions imposed, acquired what was, a remarkable ending. 

He started at night into the dawn and his set followed that exact mood, beautifully structured with such diversity that it gave us all that breath of fresh air and that no matter what happens, we will always find ways to togetherness and dancing. 

Personally for me, this was my last set with them before I left Romania to come back home to London, closing then a beautiful and amazing chapter of my journey in this country that taught me so much and one I love dearly. This artist whom I manage for so many years gave me a sent off carried with pride and fulfilment, from a hard working, constantly evolving artist and person, and for such, one that managed to unify this floor in ways this crisis sometimes leads us to think otherwise. If anything, this is a little reminder that no one will ever stop us dancing and believing. 

Thank you Herodot, thank you Sunrise for braving through this, thank you Romania.

Yoel Simoni  (Parallel Perception | Tel Aviv)

Yoel has been a fan of electronic music since a young age. With roots of deep material coming from his hometown Istanbul, but now living in Tel Aviv, he has been doing parties with his collective OBSCURE since 2018. The collective has been standing out with its different sound design from the rest of the city. Always open to explore different sounds, Yoel prefers to use the shamanic and experimental side of the techno music with deep and heavy kicks. 
In May 2020 he launched the podcast platform Parallel Perception with his friends. Their goal is to inspire the people of Tel Aviv. This project has the clear vision to showcase journeys of the hypnotic, atmospheric and deep techno sound.
