a song i made called routine :)
i'm very happy with how it's turned out, and honestly I learned a good bit about mixing and mastering in the last stages of finalizing it, (still, i feel like there's some more fine tuning needed, but for now I believe this to be good).
Anyway, i hope you enjoy, and please let me know your thoughts!

The smell of coffee seems so 
blunt to my listless mind, but
it's just right for the fragile lies
I keep cooped up in my head.

I guess this is how it tastes --
I just seem second-to-last.
Not like it'll matter on the long days,
this routine, it keeps me sane.

keep me busy and just ignore the burn.
I guess I tend to get carried away;
sometimes I wish i couldn't say.

Thought it'd work 'till I managed to lose them.
Not like the day could care anyway,
still I hope that the stars will fall my way.

(but this tepid night, it stares me in the eyes)
and I'm scared to look past.
