We write, we listen, we collaborate, we play, we enjoy each other's music.  Originals and covers, rock songs and ballads, from the quirky trends to the traditional crooning, NoiseTrends does it all.

NoiseTrends exists to promote LOCAL music in the Lafayette, IN area and to highlight two currently active bands each featuring lifelong songwriter Hans Rees.  With a broad musical background, Hans plays different styles in each of his two current bands, No Apparent Reason and Frank Muffin.

In years past, Hans has also played with other groups dating back to 1983 with his high school band, LINT (Limited International Noise Trends), and beyond with Horse Latitudes and Alternate Simplicity.  Each of these bands shaped the musical tastes, talent and songwriting skills that Hans utilizes today.  This website also provides access to old photos, recordings, and information about those early bands for old friends to reminisce or new friends who are curious and brave.

Making all sorts of cool sounds in the Midwest.
