Os produtores Matheus Rosa e Erika Casarin fazem uma versão preservando os principais elementos da track original deixando ela mais clubber e com uma pitada de Tech House.

In 2016 I launched the Hybrasil label as an outlet for music from my live show. In some cases I would hold tracks back for a number of years until they had moved out of my live set circulation and at that point I would release them on the label. In other cases these compositions didn’t fit into what I was putting together in terms of EPs or releases, maybe they were a bit odd or sometimes I just wasn’t able to let them go out into the ether.

The Twelfth release on the label features two tracks from my live archive. ‘Module H’ and ‘Alphas’ were written during my time working with David Robertson (aka Reset Robot). Before moving to Berlin I travelled to David’s Portsmouth studio three or four times a year to work on music, over a period of three years. It’s hard to explain just how important and influential this process was in my development as an artist and music producer.

About the artist:
Hybrasil learned his craft working as a house engineer at Temple Lane and Grouse Lodge Studios, where he recorded and produced music on NEVE and SSL Consoles across genres such as Blues, Jazz, Folk Music, World Music and Prog Rock. After many years of honing his skills as a sound engineer with a variety of different artists from different backgrounds, work on the Hybrasil live and studio project began. 

In 2005 he took up residency as a radio DJ, presenting a late-night 3 deck mix show inspired by The Wizard on WJLB Detroit. It wasn’t long before Hybrasil was picked up by Irish National Radio. A broadcasting career that eventually spanned a total of twelve years. 

The Hybrasil live project debuted in 2016. What followed was a series of digital/vinyl releases on his own eponymous label and a number of key performances at festivals and clubs across the continent. His most ambitious project took five years to develop. For this, he wrote a live show entitled ‘Spaces’, performed before Jeff Mills & the National Concert Orchestra at Dublin’s Bord Gais Theatre.

Shortly after moving to Berlin in 2018, he was welcomed into the Rekids family by Radio Slave, debuting on the label with the ‘Afra EP’ and his debut album ‘Embers’. Since joining the label he has picked up a number of mix credits on Rekids as well as embarking on an audio visual collaboration with Tom Hodgkinson of Bristol based design studio ‘Shop’, which has featured on key releases such as We Don’t Flip & Tuatha De Danann. In 2021 Hybrasil joined Carl Cox & Christopher Coe’s Awesome Soundwave, debuting with Dezik EP.

For our next collected cast we welcome one of the members of the collected crew.

Since taking her first steps into the club scene, adrija always had a passion for rooms full of high spirits and vibrating basses. Within the heat of electronic music she holds a deep fascination for that certain moment when captivating sounds fuse with dazzling lights and (many many) emotions. 

Changing perspectives from dancing before to dancing behind the decks finally allowed her to create her own musical journeys with tracks close to her heart. 

Her collected cast takes you back to sandy dancefloors and drums pounding through the dust. A journey back to the summer nights we’ve been all missing lately.
