Imagine Apollo 13 mission commanded by Mika Vainio and ERP and you might get an idea of the intergalactic atmospherics crawling from the new Phi chapter. Slovenian minimalism afficionado Evano returns to Phi with an icy pulse that starts the electro romanticism on the first track and soon turns to hypnotic four to the floor pace. Atonal minimalism intensifies with the last two tracks but manages to make the vacuum of music space sound incredibly human.

His productions skills are unquestionable and we‘re excited to bring you four techno anthems ready to conquer the late night dancefloors.    

Nostalgia is a nod to the older days. Subtle blend of hypnotic mysticism and Detroit-style techno – a instant afterhours anthem! Rydgad is a handy tool for the DJs who love to throw a little swag to their crowd. Its minimal, but still offers a lot of little tricks to make the room work. Morph gets dark and twisted - with Oculus‘s hypnotic voice reassuring the listener in his native tongue that the he is the all-seeing eye of the Icelandic techno scene. The EP ends with the minimalistic mind-twister of „Flod“ – completing the first odyssey of Æ Recordings LTD.

Moonchild they call me, because I only appear once a month during full moon.  I was once saved by the damned & doomed; now I have awoken from a structural nightmare. In my new & limited existence, I felt the urge to cast a bright light on those creatures of the night as we would share a common faith (or systematic oppression). I suppose we are a fragmented community – once a month – when the moon shines the strongest – we bring death & despair to the ones that marginalized our spirits.

There is little known about ᕙllthᕗ apart from that her brother was obsessed with video games but never let her play...so instead she sat outside his room and listened to the computerized-game-Chiptunes for hours and created her very own wondrous mind-game-imaginarium... ￼

There are no sad stories…as long as they have a spicy Game-Over tune at the end of it. ￼
