Weekend Circuit, record label born out of London, England, is an artistic entity focussing primarily on releasing first-rate Techno since it’s inception in 2013. Starting from humble beginnings, the outfit have rapidly grown into one of the cities most important collectives. The inaugural release, helmed by Dax J, helped set the blueprint for a well-honed, forward-glancing sound that owes as much to London as it does to Berlin.

Previous releases have given artists a stand-alone platform upon which to extend their music to the masses, and now the label releases its first V/A series, Ground-Fault-Interrupt.

Artists such as Developer and Sleeparchive return to the imprint, this time joined by both veteran producers and newcomers alike. Yan Cook, Alderaan & P.E.A.R.L. also surface, giving this compilation a unique flavour and displaying a true understanding of the label’s direction.

Spread over 2 parts, the record’s eight tracks further showcase what the label has been become known for, a highly-focussed, well-contemplated brand with music to match. With tracks from the compilation already being played by artists such as Rodhad at this years Time Warp, Ben Sims and more, G-F-I offers future classics across the board.

Hot on the heels of their stunning album "Havana '58" and with fans worldwide clamoring for more we've been able to call upon a brilliant range of fantastic producers, DJs and artists. Sifting through the album's finest moments they worked their magic on selected tracks and reboot them into pure rhythmic bliss: "The Havana Remixes", a bright collection of Latin, House, Jazz, Funk & Soul with a thoroughly modern take on Dancefloor Jazz.
Starting with a stirring 60s Boogaloo hip-twist of "Muévelo Papi" from the mighty Club Des Belugas, followed by Geordie mate Smoove from Newcastle who turns “No Words” into a fusion of Jazz house and Breakbeat while Opolopo pulls "Dizzy's Bounce" deeeep into jazzy House. Both producer teams  Maestro&Vezzola and Chinchin's Zouzoulectric/Gardener Of Delight are giving a Special Disco-Latin-House-Funk treatment each to their individual interpretation of "Tropicana Flight" while Suonho from Italy rejams in his very own soulful mood and brings a more modern-soul-disco-funk for "No Words" while "Muévelo Papi" amps up the funk quotient with a touch of jazz and a latin twist. Finally we got an unexpected Nu-skool Brazilika-brukbeat from Positive Flow aka Jesse Reuben Wilson on "Elegguà" and solid Latin funky breaks from Jack&Jointz on the rolling "Rumba Fugaz".

All remixes are mastered by The Uncle and very special radio-edits of all remixes exclusively filled the beautiful 180g vinyl. Containing nine tracks, this 12" looks like a neat introduction for newcomers and a nice round up for long term Bahama Soul Club admirers. 
The full long versions will be released on CD and all Digital formats.
