Making his Hot Creations debut is Belfast's very own Phil Kieran with 'Make A Change' and heavyweights Nathan Barato and Matrixxman on remixes. Acting as a teaser this release is the precursor to Kieran's soon coming album ‘Blinded By The Sun’ on Jamie Jones and Lee Foss's almighty label in October.

For over a decade Kieran has dedicated his career to producing and DJing to his very best ability, resulting in a reputation that is undoubtedly as solid as the music he makes. He has previously worked with Green Velvet, and was personally chosen by Depeche Mode to remix 'Sweetest Perfection'. Having released on ULTRAMAJIC, Hotflush, Cocoon, Turbo and his own imprint Phil Kieran Recordings, Kieran is an unwavering figure within the techno scene. His unprecedented skills in production have also meant that he's created film scores alongside David Holmes and released music under his alias Le Carousel.

Canadian Nathan Barato returns once more to Hot Creations and delivers a remix charged with his signature after-hours energy. Matrixxman switches up the mood entirely with his unyielding remixes, made entirely for the real techno-heads.

Carl Cox label Intec starts 2017 with new look artwork and a hefty release from Stephan Hinz. 2017 is set to be a big one for the Techno focused Intec and with Stephan Hinz coming fresh from a release on Pan-Pots label Second State, he was the perfect choice to kick start the year. 

Having also collaborated with Pan-Pot on a track called Tension, Stephan has a proven musical pedigree backed up by his back catalogue of labels, which includes releases on Nicole Moudabers Mood Records and Adam Beyers Drumcode. Returning to Intec for his second sole EP on Carl Cox's much famed imprint, Stephan has a background in making music for film and this love for cinematics can be heard in his dramatic production style. Whether it's an explosive and concise live performance, or a vibrant DJ set Stephan Hinz is a master at the controls, and his ever evolving production style fuses a variety of influences. 

The release opens with the mechanical rhythms of Off Numbers which has a menacing sense of intent, offset by dark undertones to create a nervous tension and spark frenzied excitement. Brought to life by the rising tones of the grinding bassline and the looped melody, the hard hitting drums make this Techno monster perfect for dark rooms and sweaty dancefloors. Track two titled Shaded is all about the bassline which bellows out from the bottom end to engulf the track in its devastating forward momentum. Patient and purposeful, the structure unfolds with the help of shuffling percussion that clacks and clatters like chains striking concrete, whilst the sinister melody part creates an unsettling sense of exhilaration.

Tiga - DJ, singer, producer, radio maverick, man of eight talents -- unleashes his brand new single 'Plush' December 17th via Different Recordings / PIAS.
Taken from his non-stoppable new mix CD Tiga Non Stop, the single was co-produced by Matthew Dear, starting as a freeform jam session and ending as something that works equally well as an underground club anthem and literally everybody's track of the year. It also features what Tiga is privately calling his greatest vocal performance to date.
"'Plush' was inspired by 80s dance TV shows like Pelvic Gold and The Bandana Patrol, as well as my undying love and respect for the city of Detroit," says the Montreal musician from his home in Montreal. "It's the first of what I know will be many collaborations with Matthew Dear, a sort of musical friendship bracelet that will bind us unto eternity."
As is the custom in contemporary dance music, Tiga handpicked and handpaid UK legend Jacques Lu Cont and German duo Ame (Kristian Beyer & Frank Widermann) to create two remixes of the new track. Drawing on his alleged stint as Madonna's choreographer, Lu Cont pumps up the tempo for the biggest rooms you could possibly imagine. Meanwhile Ame aims for a more minimal, hypnotic approach, sure to enthrall the geniuses who frequent Germany's hottest underground dance holes.
One of the most inexhaustibly creative and exhaustingly revered musicians in electronic music, Tiga has consistently garnered as much critical acclaim as anyone could reasonably hope to garner. Two decades deep into his career and going for it like each decade could be his last, he remains a pioneer of the electronic underground.
"This song comes 100% from a universe 1000% my own. I don't mind being thought of as 'The Different Guy,' so long as all the right people love me. And they do, because it's their right to be right all night, a'ight?"
