This year I celebrate 24 years as a pro DJ in the Rave business on exactly the same day as Raindance. Even though I was a DJ from a very young age Raindance was my first big break back in 1989 so I always see it as my proper début in to the Rave scene...

It is a massive challenge trying to pick from so many wicked tunes... so the track list is simply a mixed bag of tunes that bring back great memories of Jenkins Lane and all of the Raindance tours that I was involved in through the early years.

Here's a mix I did back in 1991 around the time we were doing small events at the Raindance Clubhouse in Jenkins Lane, the recording is OK, not the best as it's from cassette but I've managed to brighten it up a bit. This is a set of tunes specifically picked from what I used to play at Raindance in 1990 / 1991 when it was actually at Jenkins Lane, and was recorded live at The Coronet on Saturday... the tunes do get quite tough in places but that's how it really was back then with lots of European tracks in the mix of things...great memories... hope you enjoy!
