John Monkman's 'Entropy' is the first of two singles to come on his Beesemyer label this summer. London-based Monkman is a notable presence in the house & techno scene with releases on labels like Ellum Audio and Kompakt. He is a renowned studio wizard who has also worked on music with legends
like Bryan Ferry while taking his ever-evolving audio-visual, live set everywhere from Warung Beach Club to Glastonbury. His lush textured and detailed beats have given him plenty of Beatport chart success and this new single is likely to do the same.

The multi-layered 'Entropy' is an edgy and futuristic cut. The drums make for a heavy groove while a whole world of malfunctioning machines, withering synths and smeared pads bring the drama. The ever-evolving track is evocative of a cosmic battle in deepest darkest space and is sure to bring some real drama to the dance floor.

Following on from their Record Store Day ‘Looped EP’ release, which featured remixes by Dauwd and Lubomyr Melnyk, Kiasmos – made up of Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen – return with three new tracks and a remix by Tale Of Us.

Recorded in various locations including Reykjavík and Berlin, the EP opens with ‘Drawn’, a four-minute percussion fuelled track with gentle piano motifs. ‘Gaunt’ features the addition of ambient synths and a drum loop, underpinned by slow-moving chords. Title track ‘Swept’ which the duo offered to fans as a surprise gift in form of a free download card at previous show dates, showcases a more club-oriented beat structure alongside Kiasmos’ signature emotive instrumentation. 
 
Closing the EP is a remix from Berlin-based duo Tale of Us who met Kiasmos in London and twist the original downbeat title track
into their distinctively dark aesthetic. Pulsating hats and a driving bass loop add pace as the track builds toward an epic breakdown.

The ‘Swept EP’ will be released on 12”/DL via Erased Tapes on November 20th, 2015.

Faktorm is to thank for delivering a beautifully dark track, ‘Faith’ while Budakid, Digitaria and YokoO craft their own remixes. First let’s talk about the original. The introduction allows the track to slowly build on a brooding bass line. Scattered piano gives a cool touch to the already menacing track. But opening the EP is Budakid’s remix. The tech-house producer has been catching ears and gaining real support for a while now. His remix takes the track directly into dance territory, with a great tech-house vibe. By making the track less dark and more entrancing, he’s pulled off a really nice peak time thriller. Where Budakid left off, Digitaria is now taking over. Immediately we are met with a deep kick and chugging bass and a hefty dose of dark energy. Not as lightweight and elegant as the other remixes, instead, it’s not afraid to be heavy and direct; and rightly so. Strings rise beautifully, lifting us gently. Soon enough the kick brings back the electricity in a big way. Absolutely great techno here. YokoO visits from the Kindisch camp and brings with him a remix of a different tone. YokoO decides to take the slow approach and reduces the track to its orchestral bits and rebuilds himself an absolutely elegant and warming remix.

As the anticipation for @hokimusic's debut album amplifies, the Montreal-based duo presents their fourth single - The Push. Hoki's first three singles, and accompanying remixes, have received tremendous acclaim for their innovative approach to indie-electronic production. Varti Deuchoghlian's beat design under Brent McCormick's endearing vocals have proven an incredible match, as the two continue their journey towards releasing their first album.

The Push comes as an innately dance-centric release from Hoki. A thick underbelly carries the track, with techno-influenced synth work providing exaltation on top of the 4x4 beat. The heavy groove is supplemented by Brent's soaring vocals, calling for better days. The Push will surely be a track fitting for dark moments on dance floors.

Hoki also present yet another innovative remix for their fourth single. With Clarian, Facundo Mohrr, and Matthias Meyer already boosting the Hoki's remix roster into legendary territory, The Push comes paired with a killer remix from @thedriftersound. The Irish-producer, similar to Hoki, had extensive experience outside of dance music prior to launching his electronic-based project. He now runs the label Maeve with compatriot Mano Le Tough, and has had releases on the likes of Permanent Vacation and Watergate. The Drifter's remix of The Push extends the original track's reach on dance floors by adding hypnotic vocal chops and acid overtones.

About the artist
Arude is a young and aspiring producer and DJ from Ukraine. With every new track Arude is trying to develop his skills and present something new and extraordinary for the audience.
Anton Rudenko started Arude in 2013 (when he was 18 years old) and straight moved to making his own sound. After many hours in studio Arude had his first release on Univack Records, with a lot of good feedback from artists like Soul Button, Blancah, Aaryon and Animal Picnic. Then he made a powerful remix of "Zama Zamas" by Martin Kremser and debut on KDB Records. In 2017 Arude had his debut on Steyoyoke Black with melodic and ethereal EP called "Existentia" and after it Anton released a number of tracks on Soul Button's iconic label "Steyoyoke". While still being at the beginning of his musicial journey, Arude ambitions to provide his own sound and seeks to get into the focus of the top league.
