The demo he sent to us was totally right for our new little sublabel Exploited Ghetto.

After their debut with "Sakura", FINNEST presents "Feel Me In Your Soul" by Kevin Deep, in their first reference of their division "Groovy Series" On side A, we find "Feel Me In Your Soul", a very pretty minimal house with a groove full of energy and movement accompanied by some hot melodies, the main element, the vocal is super sexy, it takes you to a point of no return from which you do not want to leave. Like B-side, "Pad Love", as its name says, magical pads accompanied by a very deep bassline, this time with a more crunchy groove and an elegant vocal that makes you feel like you are in the clouds, the vibe is soft. In general, a very solid maxi for the presentation of "Groovy Series", this great release by our friend Canario, cannot be missing from your playlist.

The title track features a suitably funky bassline with infectious groove, tight percussion and string stabs that play out alongside memorable spoken vocals courtesy of Ella in the main version. Cleptomaniacs put their stamp on the tune with an eerie melody overlay on their remix, while ‘Your World’ follows the same formula with killer funk samples and a groove-laden beat, rounded off with more life-affirming Ella vocals.

'Yours' with the brilliant Born I sets us off with a classic hip hop joint, then Dus joins the boys with Shyam P and the emotion meter hits 11 on 'Be Somebody'; a fusion of soul, bottom end drive and a groove so good it hurts. Born I appears again on track three and the gear steps up and the party lifts off as house meets hip hop on this previously released single 'Doin' My Thing'. There was an era of House music and the resurgence is real. Need You Now with Shyam P is a a slice of fat floor direct NY style House. Next is 'Japanese Disco' with James Curd, which is catchier than the common cold and has all the hands in the air moments required for massive dance floor destruction.

'Bad Girls' is a title we can all relate to and is a fire track with Masta Ace that has a fat dirty live baseline rolling out over a chunky drum groove. Dus makes a return on 'Red and Blue' as we take a break from the dance floor heaters to feel the emotion from the live drums, instrumentation and vocal delivery from Gregers that is pure gold.

'Burek' has that infectious roll that grabs you well before you knew it, Divine Essence brings the soul to 'Deep Down Inside', a classic deep house cut, and 'Dance On' is a closing track like it should be. Memorable and defining. Andy Roda holds an emotive vocal over what is a huge house monster. The six following remixes are all stand out cuts so dig into them and enjoy all the modern production, years of DJing and love of music that have gone into this brilliant record.

This is an album of real modern music dripping with quality and respect for House heritage, and is not to be missed.
