"Hand or Eye" genres span minimal, housemusic, deep house, and even a micro dose disco house, which is from one of the first records I added to my collection in 1998 - Busta Funk's "Black Sugar"...it still holds its own to this day.

This is the third installment in my series drawn from the William Blake poem, "The Tyger". Namir, my DJ name, means swift cat or tiger, so that is the reason for all the tiger imagery and references. The four mixes derive their name from the first lines of the poem. 

Tyger Tyger, burning bright, 
In the forests of the night; 
What immortal hand or eye, 
Could frame thy fearful symmetry? 

Therefore, the names of the mixes are:

- Fearful Symmetry

The last mix, "Fearful Symmetry" is Drum and Bass (say whaaaaa!?) and it is already recorded so I'll be posting soon.

Nassim Mehran might have the best energy ever! Everyone who knows her knows exactly what I mean. She has that positive life force surrounding her, like a Jedi. It is, at least for me, very easy to get sucked into that energy and I love that about her. That same energy, that happiness, transpires so well when she dj's. It is just a delight to observe and especially since her technique is so on point. She know's what she is doing and it feels like it came natural to her since birth. You can also hear and feel that energy in her track selection. This mix is no exception. It takes no prisoners. It starts on a very warehousey techno feeling, soon to be effected by percussion and a very nice carnival techno aspect. Then a little minimal, then a little housey, old school meets new school and in the end it gets a little darker and hypnotic. Perfect for the early mornings and for the late nights. It really doesn't matter. It's perfect for whenever. Thank you Nassim for making this mix for me, I appreciate it and I adore you. Salute! 

Two things I have to mention before I stop here. One being that Nassim has released her own music together with Swedish legend Zoo Brazil on the label Panterre Musique. Go to her page and check that out together with a bunch of dope mixes. Second and maybe the most important thing here... Me and Nassim grew up in the same part of Stockholm (Vallentuana). I know...
