Bob Monroe Hemi Sync

You don’t find the Lost Road: the Lost Road finds you. And find me it did, in a darkened lab nestled within the recesses of the Monroe Institute. Enclosed in a Faraday cage, there is a large waterbed surrounded by speakers in the center a cozy room. Connected by wires to a biofeedback machine, I listened to the surround sound binaural beat frequencies of Hemi-Sync® while Patty Ray Avalon guided me through a private Hemi-Sync® voyage based on my own physical responses to the experience. 

And in this darkened room, my body vibrating in sync with the sound and my consciousness roaming, I came upon the Lost Road, which I am still exploring: I've come back only to share this imaginary soundtrack to this part of my journey.

The Lost Road

The Lost Road (Delta/Theta Meditation Binaural Beats)

Sometimes after physical death a soul can become trapped in a confusing reality, unaware they are dead, reliving the last moments of their life or wandering aimlessly. Retrievers and helpers are able to locate these souls, create a connection, and help guide them where they need to go.

Alysia "Laughing Rain" Mcalister is an author and a musician who encompasses a unique talent: she rescues lost souls. In this podcast, Alysia explains her process of soul retrieval, which begins with entering the "out of body" state, or OOBE. She explains that during a soul retrieval, she will work with a lost soul who has crossed over and guide them where they need to go. This process was first described in Robert Monroe's final book, Ultimate Journey, where he explained his experiences with helping lost souls and the creation of the Lifeline Program through the Monroe Institute where students can receive training and guidance in this process.

Soul Retrieval
Alysia describes her process of finding and helping lost souls once out of body. She works with her guides or "helpers," who will sometimes lead her or take her to a soul in need that matches her energetic vibration. Alysia then needs to work to find a way to get the souls attention and she shares a few accounts of how she has been able to successfully contact some lost and very confused souls who were having trouble realizing they had died. She has also recently published a book based on her experiences, titles A Booklet of Soul Retrievals, which is available on Amazon. In addition, Alysia reminds us that anybody can learn to do this if we put in the time and focus to improve our natural psychic abilities.

Soul Retrieval

Winter is represented by the medicine wheel direction of North and the colour white.  In Ayurveda, winter is represented by the Kapha dosha.  More than anytime during the year, winter calls us to slow down, rest and dream.  This mix was designed to help bring your awareness inward; from your ordinary state of being to the non-ordinary, from consensual reality to non-consensual, from time to nature's pulse, from movement to stillness, from a solid to a liquid.  This mix can be a helpful backdrop for meditation, art, restorative or yin yoga, massage tables, float tanks and especially afternoon dreaming.

In 2014, I attended my first yoga nidra workshop.  During this class with well over 50 people, I drifted into sleep.  I awoke right at the end of class feeling rested and relaxed, but also quite surprised that I actually fell asleep.  I later found out through further practice that this is quite normal.  The class taught by Giselle Mari was titled From a Solid to a Liquid.  My experience during this class planted the inspirational seed for this mix, which has been growing from that day.
