Tailor-fit to not just move but revolutionize the world, THURZ's artistic journey is a tapestry of innovation and influence.

Born Yannick Koffi, THURZ initially emerged on the music scene as one half of the acclaimed rap duo U-N-I. Their three albums garnered attention and praise from Billboard, XXL, and The Source, culminating in the honor of Best LA Breakout Artist at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. His solo debut was marked by the politically charged "L.A. Riot" in 2011, a homage to Rodney King and the consequential L.A. riots of 1992, firmly establishing THURZ as a voice of social consciousness.
2014 saw THURZ's partnership with Red Bull Sound Select, releasing the groundbreaking “Designer EP.” The EP's success led to the inception of “Party In My Living Room” (PIMLR), a series of intimate, powerhouse events bringing together local artists and DJs across various cities, transforming living rooms into epicenters of cultural exchange.

The evolution of THURZ included a monumental collaboration with Dr. Dre on the track "Fallin Up". His artistic versatility further shone through in the hit "Mood Change," a collaboration with the acclaimed producer and artist Hit-Boy.
