[ IN MUTE ] was born in the middle of 2003 and they bring us their style, closer to the death melodic metal of Scandinavian roots.

 

In 2006 they recorded “Aeternum”, their first LP. After some changes in the formation, the band became stable with the current formation, initiating the search of their essence that takes shape the five brand new tracks of ” One in a Million “, produced and recorded by Raúl Abellán (Animal Music Productios), mastered in Finnvox (Finland) by Mika Jussila.
The “One in a Million Tour” took them all over the Iberian Peninsula along 2013 and 2014, culminating in the Wacken Metal Battle in Germany, where they reached the first prize of the event against other 29 countries.

 

Composing new material to keep forward, they continue fighting in their live shows to bring new energy to all the possible corners

Vita Imana, reciente fichaje de la filial de Roadrunner en España, Kaiowas Records, ha realizado hasta 2010 más de 80 conciertos a lo largo de todo el estado Español y parte del extranjero, compartiendo cartel con grupos de la talla de Iron Maiden, Fear Factory, Soulfly, Gojira, Caliban, Alice Cooper, Motley Crue, Linkin Park, Mnemic, Sybreed, Hacride,O´Funkillo, XXL, Rage, etc…tocando en salas y festivales de renombre (Sala Caracol, Sala Heineken, Sala Mephisto, Festimad Sur, Festival Arteficial, Festival Granito Rock, MetalHell Festival, Grooverial Metal Fest, Metal Lorca, WACKEN OPEN AIR…).

La mezcla de sonidos del Hardcore y el Groove Metal americano junto a otros de raíces tribales africanas y asiáticas.., han logrado que VITA IMANA sea, a día de hoy, una de las bandas más importantes del panorama, con letras en castellano y una puesta en escena única y arrolladora.

Su primer album "En Otro Lugar" ya ha recibido los halagos de los medios más importantes y de grupos como Gojira, una de las bandas, junto a otras como Devil Driver, Machine Head, Slipknot, Sepultura, Chimaira o Hacride, que más han influido en la banda desde sus comienzos, allá por 2005. 

Ahora, bajo el sello de Kaiowas Records, VITA IMANA grabarán su nuevo álbum en otoño de 2011, con el que emprenderán una importante gira por territorio español y europeo.

Vita Imana is a powerful metal group, whose music is characterized mainly by the overwhelming rythmical base created by a battery that unfolds, as much accelerated and frenetic rates as other dense and heavy... this one are complemented perfectly with a line of additional percussion (darbuka, djembe, surdo, berimbao...), inserting this way the tribal character that the group makes feel in its music, doing echoes of ethnic rates of different countries like Morocco, Egypt, Turkey, Australia, Senegal... 

The guitars, with ultraserious refining, offer riffs demolishing connected with extreme coherence one after another one, followed by a line of low that provides the heavy weight to the sound of Vita Imana. As far as the voice, a this one manifest extreme degree of aggressiveness that arrives until the limits of the paranoia, transmitting in the messages ambiguous, but constant sensations: madness, hysteria, rage..., but mainly, force to emerge in the realities that asphyxiate to us. It is this mixture of the more forceful modern metal and the tribal rates of percussion which makes the sound so peculiar of the group. 

The style and the form to compose the songs are born like necessity to express the creativity that takes inside, fed by an enormous amount of influences of all type. All these influences put in common give like fruit more or less original subjects, but that they do not leave indifferent that listens to them.

Bay Area metal titans MACHINE HEAD, will release their highly anticipated new album, CATHARSIS, on January 26 via Nuclear Blast Entertainment.
