I'm a self-taught composer interested in making a kind of music that provides a variety of moods, with the influences I've grown up with. I'm a big fan of the 70's Rock Prog bands and movie soundtrack composers such as Vangelis, Mike Oldfield, and Hans Zimmer. Hope you will enjoy my tracks. Take care.

Songwriter from Boston making music for films,TV and radio. Rod is an ASCAP member and plays Guitar, Bass, Keys, Dobro, Banjo, Mandolin, Harmonica, Fiddle, Gu Zheng, Pipa and Voice.
 
Rod started gigging with The Steve and Dee Five at age 11, with a general business family band, much like the Partridge Family. Later, signed to an indie label with his progressive rock band Awaken.
Rod has had his music placed with Tippingpoint Labs film Roadside Ambition with MTV's Tom Green, as well as jingles on Citidel Broadcasting's WFHN Fun 107 and WBSM. Currently, Rod's music can be found in the music libraries of Entertainment One , Lab Hits, proTunes and Fresh Sync.
