The group, One O'Clock Jump, based out Cape Cod, Massachusetts, was a jazz/swing vocal group that performed together throughout much of the 1980's.

All five members were natives of Boston, New Bedford and Cape Cod.

The group performed original vocal arrangements of big band orchestrations and other vocal group charts by well noted jazz and swing groups from the 1930's through the 50's, including Lambert Hendricks and Ross, The Modernaires, The Andrew Sisters, The Mill Brothers and many more.

Using harmony, vocalese and scat soloing as featured highlights in many of the group's songs, One O'Clock Jump had a unique sound enjoyed by jazz and swing audiences on both East and West Coasts.

One O'clock Jump performed together for almost 9 years before disbanding, playing concerts, festivals and club dates with a number of renown big bands including The Count Basie Orchestra, The Buddy Rich Orchestra, The Artie Shaw Band and more......

Boston Herald says: "It's a contemporary musical flashback to the 1930's and 40's. A carbon microphone with a 20-20,000HZ. The sound would make Glenn Miller smile. Tia Brazda’s sassy jazz-pop gems and pin-up girl style have established her as a sparkling presence on the jazz scene at home and abroad, paying homage to the golden era while adding a modern twist.  Her first EP ‘Cabin Fever’ burst onto the scene in 2012, hitting #1 on the iTunes Canada Jazz Chart and receiving airplay around the world.  She followed that up with her latest album ‘Bandshell’ which also debuted at #1 on the iTunes Canada Jazz Chart and was named one fo the best of the decade in the Italian press, and ranked the #5 best Canadian jazz release of 2015 by Jazz FM 91 in Toronto.  The album also hit #24 on the CMJ national jazz radio chart in the U.S. after being added to over 35 stations nationwide, and continues to receive airplay across the country as well as on CBC Radio, Jazz FM 91, BBC6 in the UK and Rai Radio 1 in Italy.  Her release “Bandshell Remixed”, an electro-swing tribute also made the Best of 2016 list on the Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on BBC6 in the UK.  Tia has toured the world performing from Vancouver to Amsterdam, including such festivals as the Montreux Jazz Festival, Festival International de Jazz de Montreal (main stage), TD Toronto Jazz Festival, Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival (cover of festival program), Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Maui Waui Festival and Bestival (UK) and Iboga Summer Festival (Spain).  

Her new album 'When I Get Low', a collection of songs of the Great American Songbook is out May 27, 2022 with tour dates in Canada and Europe in support.
