Inspired by the depths of the sleeping mind; R.O.M delivers his spectactular Dreams EP with his debut EP release on @FutureBeatsRec . The teenage producer prodigy spent months recording a dream diary and based his production work around the resulting experiences of his wildest imaginations. From being stuck inside a video game to missing an ex-girlfriend; R.O.M covers all the bases across the fantastic 8 track EP and brings an atmospheric, space age twist to his signature chopped up R&B sound.
The multi-instrumentalist from Dudley, UK, plays a range of guitars, drums and keyboard. Despite his age, R.O.M’s core influences stem from early 90s R&B and smooth jazz. Unlike most children, R.O.M started producing at the age of twelve to put his thoughts and experiences into sonic explanations of his emotions. After studying the technical side of music theory at college and currently studying a degree in the field; R.O.M is expanding his fortitude with Novation Launchpad, Launch Control XL and Serato to add a new dimension to his studio and live performances.
After releasing his single ‘G R A V I T Y’ on Future Beats Records in October 2014, R.O.M has been extremely active releasing track on The Good Vibe compilation, collaborations with Whispa, Dexter Brandon and Deffie as well as guestmixes for Rinse FM France and First Ear Radio.
