André Pahl (Berlin) crafts sonic odysseys—pitched down cinematic journeys through uncharted seas, forbidden deserts and cosmic realms.

Infectious and introspective, his sound oscillates between psychedelic trips, experimental disco and ritualistic percussions, exploring the slowed-down heartbeat of danceable music.

Originally from Düsseldorf, by way of Amsterdam, Mexico City and Berlin, he has absorbed the musical flavour of each new home while maintaining a palette that is unmistakably his own.

He is a DJ who doesn't merely take you on another drum journey, but adds an extra dimension where preconception doesn't apply. It can take a while to get used to it though. Because sophistication never went out of style, it just took a few decades to catch up with it. And when the coin finally dropped, Albion was there to pick it up. In 2004 he realized that he could set out on a musical journey that no DJ had done before him. Over the last years he has recorded more than a hundred mixes and has steadily built up a worldwide following.

With the groundbreaking Mixtura mixes, he rediscovered and brought together European disco tracks that had been lost and forgotten since the heydays, Albion defined his own sound, which he refers to as Continental Disco Sound.

So far, he has been putting dance floors on fire in Amsterdam, Athen, Barcelona, Belgrad, Berlin, Bordeaux, Bristol, Bruxelles, Chemnitz, København, Dresden, Dublin, Göteborg, Hague, Helsinki, Leeds, Leipzig, London, Lyon, Madrid, Malmö, Mons, München, Mockba, New York, Oslo, Palma de Mallorca, Paris, Pescara, Rotterdam, Sofia, Stockholm, Thessaloniki, Turku, Uzés, Veliko Tarnovo and Vilnius.

Each year Albion with friends arrange the disco festival Camp Cosmic.
