Paramida made her name as an upstart behind the counter at Berlin's'Oye Record Store and held a riotous two year residency at Salon Zur Wilden Renate with her Paradisco parties; inviting luminaries Tornado Wallace, DJ Fett Burger, Telephones, Danielle Baldelli, DJ Sprinkles, Man Power and others along for the ride. Her Love On The Rocks label has lit up an often staid Berlin techno scene with colourful releases to date from Discodromo, Fantastic Man, Telephones and Zombies in Miami. Für die letzte Episode "In the room of spirit and time" in diesem Jahr haben wir, @frinda_di_lanco @hendrik_stein und ich gemeinsam überlegt dieses Umwelt-Spezial zu machen. Zum Einen weil es schon eine ganze Menge obskurer Musik gibt, die sich mit dem Thema Umweltzerstörung/schutz beschäftigt und zum Anderen, weil uns nicht zuletzt die Situation im Danni gerade mal wieder vor Augen führt, wie beschissen wenig Umweltklimaoderwasauchimmerschutz zählt, wenn er gegen kommerzielle Interessen abgewogen wird. Wir spielen daher nicht nur Musik sondern auch kurze Statements von Freunden in der Show zu diesem Thema.

Ein großes Dankeschön geht raus an @andrea_zucca & @louislargo für wundervolle Track-Beiträge und außerdem liebsten Dank an unsere Dichter und Sprecher Florian, Sascha, Frida, Arved, Günter, Niklas, Freakout & das Berggorillamädchen für die eingesprochenen Haikus!

tici taci - bringing you electric funk rekkids at tempos below 120 bpm. No pre-packed freeze dried loops here, all tracks have live instruments well to the fore, from funky wah-wah guitars and deep chunky bass to temperamental analogue synthesisers and live percussion.

Now 2 years later (July 2015) we're at 23 releases from a range of artists and remixers, with one release scheduled each month.


Duncan Gray (biog) : Perhaps best known as one half of the Sons of Slough along with Ian Weatherall - see discogs entry for details of releases. The Sons were a formidable Live act (see You tube) playing regularly across the UK. DG's own releases also gained some popularity, starting with cuts for Scatological (1996) Blue Black, Whole9Yards, SaltHill, through to Aquamelon (2009). Since returning to music production in 2013 he has released tracks on NEIN, Eskimo, Blindetonation, Play Pal, Rock to The Beat, plus Andrew Weatherall's vinyl only Birdscarer label. He has played guitar on half a dozen AW remixes.

Yes, I do want to hear new tracks. I am always interested in music which features REAL INSTRUMENTS - or electronic originality. I'm getting fussy these days...please email files to the email address above. (don't just send a soundcloud link please) If you don't know what the sound of this label is like, don't bother sending me stuff. I get quite a few demos with a note saying "I love the sound of your label" from producers who have clearly never listened to any of our releases.

PLEASE NOTE : 2020 release schedule now full, but I can always make room for something spectacular, or a really cool remix...
