This weekend we have a pleasure to present Giles & Diego. It's the newly formed french duo exploring different facets of profound and energetic vibes to satisfy dancers across the globe.
After their encounter on a Tunisian beach during a party where Diego held a DJ residency, the two french guys were drawn to each other by their mutual thirst for deep & melodic house grooves.
Both Giles and Diego have been active in electronic music for over a decade now:
On the one hand, there’s Giles whose passion for life is driven by longtime love for electronic music in all its forms. Giles brings his pianist skills and emotional twist to the duo.
On the other hand, Diego, a seasoned drummer and DJ who already had a blast in the south of France scenes before joining forces with Giles and bringing his definition of groove.

Alexandre Chaves was born at noon on a hot summer day out of time in Paris. At 8 years old his mother gave him his first electric guitar in a desperate attempt to calm down her hyperactive child but something much more powerful happened at that moment. Alexandre became obsessed with music and was sure about its mission in this life. Years later after developing his unique taste for music, the young guitar player moves to California to study music at the Musicians Institute of Los Angeles where he took his first steps as a live guitar player. By the end of his graduation, he discovered alternative music festivals and got deeply infected by the electronic music world. It took him a few years to learn how to merge organic and electronic music to be able to express his new musical vision called Day Out of Time

During his time alone he crafted his sound. As he travelled towards us he always listened very carefully. Absorbing and capturing all the noises and wonderful vibrations around him . He found that music exists in almost everything if you listen closely enough. From grains of sand sweeping against the salt pillars of the White desert to birds returning from the skies above their inner cities. These sounds became textures and details in each musical expression. Now, as they meld in to one, they magically paint pictures behind listeners closed eyes. It was 1995 that Dio S started playing out the records he collected from a younger age. The soul of house music and the energy of early progressive house was evident in each and every set. All that with a pint of techno music in the end. Years passed, Dio S kept djing around Greece and until now he shared the decks with Kosmas, Elias Tzikas, Steve Mill, Nikos Diamantopoulos, Mikele, Thodoris Triantafyllou, Adrianos Papadeas and many more.
Dio S started getting into production in 2005, always trying to learn more and more about the sound. Of course, having electronic music as the main influence (and artists such as James Holden, Pryda, Sasha, Craig Armstrong, Hans Zimmer), he created tracks ready for the dancefloor, but with more of a depth, making it possible to sound equally good at home.
After 2008 he released his first tracks on vinyl to Method and Get Weird, plus more digital releases to Sol Selectas, Iboga, OneDotSixtyTwo, Stripped, Movement, Per-Vurt, Maktub, Epsilon Trax, Sick Watona & Baroque. His music has gained great feedback & support from Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Lee Burridge, Sabo, Tripswitch, Kidnap Kid, Groove Armada, Eric Prydz, Logiztik Sounds, Kosmas, Shawn Mitiska, Cid Inc, Markus Schulz & many more quality djs.
He also has a downtempo project by the name of Cayo Largo, with 5 albums already in the market.
