Encompassing a musical universe that is eclectic, melodious and hypnotic, the French duo Chambord return to BLOND:ISH’s ABRACADABRA label with the spellbinding tones of ‘La Cumbia’.

Encompassing the folkloric style that originates from Colombia and Panama, ‘La Cumbia’ sashays through the room bathed with seduction and mystique, as Chambord playfully introduce brass motifs and assured percussion alongside the track’s vocal elements.  ‘Buenos tiempos’ comes pouring out of ‘La Cumbia’, and another bomb tune from Chambord!

Latin American sounds ring out on ‘Desperado’, a unique collaboration between Mòo & Jo, Demayä, Arkadyan and the vocal performance from Eribertho Cruzado. Scintillating sounds on BLOND:ISH’s Abracadabra label as per usual!
The track’s chief protagonists Mòo & Jo and Demayä explain more; “we were trying to sample an old afro-boogie song that had a crazy bassline that we actually kept in Desperado, but the rest of the track wasn't matching at all. We decided later to keep only the bassline and build around it, trying different plugins and patterns, until we came up with the idea of a trumpet riff, and it was directly into that mariachi vibes. We decided to call our friendsArkadyan to add some drums and the crazy trumpet refrain, which worked so perfectly! The idea was to make a track full of groove but matching with the tension of the bassline. We are all super happy with the end result, and the Vocal Mix with Eribertho Cruzado is simply an easy tune for any place, again we can't wait for the release.”

‘Return To A Place Called Heaven’ is the next EP from Boston-based duo Warung. Making their Anjunadeep debut in 2021 with their remix of Nox Vahn’s thundering hit ‘Brainwasher’, the duo since released their four-track EP ‘Sinuous’ on the label which gained support from Gorgon City, Eelke Kleijn and Nick Warren.

First heard on Anjunadeep 13, ‘Division’ opens the EP leading with cascading synths whilst Warung's second Anjunadeep 13 feature ‘Return To Place Called Home’ leads with a cinematic down-tempo intro. ‘Luminescence’ features a warm vocal sampler whilst EP closer ‘Want Me Want You’ leads with percussive-laden grooves and a male vocal. Warung’s latest showcases the duo’s chemistry as producers, and follows recent releases on labels including Colorize, W&O Street Records and Yoshitoshi records.
