International DJ, music composer, charting producer, in-demand remixer, Beatport best selling Tech-House artist of year 2015, Olivier Giacomotto is a proven integral player of the electronic music scene. Partner of John Acquaviva, they currently co-run the independent label Definitive Recordings and manage various kind of music projects around the world.

Olivier Giacomotto first got into production in 1999 working as producer assistant at Townhouse Studios in London, then went back to France with enough experience to start a career of music composer. His tireless need to evolve and grow as creative entity and forward thinking artist always forced this Paris based composer to constantly seek a new musical excitement. Therefore Olivier naturally crossed musical genres and trends always keeping an eye on the original definition of the underground.

In the last 10 years, he progressively found his path into techno, house, electro, tech-house, deep house, and forged his success with constant appearances in the highest ranks of the Beatport charts, the biggest online music store specializing in electronic dance music. for the past ten years now, mira celebrated her birthday by inviting all of her favourite cats. for the first time since it started, and for obvious reasons, 43 Katzen tanzen auf’m Tisch won’t be happening, on what would have been the tenth anniversary of the series.

Please take this compilation as a perfect souvenir of all the nights we’ve had so far and an idea of what to look forward to in all the nights to come at Kater Blau somewhere in the future.
