For that new split of the series, we welcome two heavyweights of the deviant electro scene. On the A side, the french producer Maelstrom, who recently released some nuggets on RAAR, CPU or Cultivated Electronics, and who's back on AAR after a first split with DeFeKt five years ago. On the B side, russian punks Locked Club and RLGN, known for their no-holds-barred nuts tunes on Private Persons. Expect some cold groove, loony breaks, high-pitched distortions, oriental influences, ravey vocals and of course much TB-303 !

EKATA debuts on Data Point and joins the Censor crew with the slick 4 track Videodrome EP. 

A stark-cold light flickers on the VDU of the internal server rack that once provided navigation for the Censor crew as they traverse their known systems and orbit the 3rd Moon: Data Point. 

A system that once forged paths and created wormholes across multiple dimensions, but is now locked on a new channel with EKATA engaging override and now in full control of the whole vessel on this mission. 

EKATA asserts control on the title track Videorome with fast-paced drums and synthesiser energy straight to the control deck. Machine Malfunctionen resets the controls with a darker more tripped out pace with icy leads and tight electro zaps altering the course of the ep by talking straight to the motherboard. Utopia allows EKATA to push the driving force on this ep with a 4/4 drop and pulsing cold lead sounds. Spectro_700 resets the coordinates and allows the crew safe voyage with a crescendo of synth-lines and fast paced drum-edits.

Machine Emotion is Tomas Jirku interfacing with hardware to make uncompromising techno and electro. After decades of exploring genres with the near-limitless possibilities afforded by software production, Tomas has built up an array of music making machines, letting his long time love of industrial music bleed into his creations.

For his new EP on PPRZ, Tomas sends pulses of acid into continually morphing environments to chart their novel paths. Cloud Chamber is the screams of long-dead physicists trapped in the world changing experiments of their own making. Tiny Hadron Collider releases their souls from torment leaving only echos of their forlorn cries.

Label co-curators Adam 2 and DJ Hockey provide two warehouse-y broken beat banging remixes to compliment the acidic EP.

EKATA’s latest release is a mechanical, driving electro odyssey infused with the soul of Detroit. Built on relentless, futuristic grooves and precision-tooled synthesis, this track pulses like the engine of a spacecraft locked on course through deep space. Its tightly wound bassline propels the track forward like thrusters firing into the void, while layers of mechanical textures spark and twist like circuitry alive with purpose.

The sonic journey unfolds like a mission log from a ship en route to an unknown frontier — calculated, unyielding, and focused. Every element is part of a greater system, from the clanking rhythms to the warping atmospheric pads, evoking the interior of a high-tech vessel navigating gravitational rifts and cosmic debris. Following his debut album "WOMB" on X-IMG in 2024, Brussels-based OTTOMAN GRÜW returns with the "WOMB II" follow-up EP, showcasing his distinct industrial-leaning and destructive approach to electronic music once more. Two original tracks blend abrasive bass lines splayed across striding machine rhythms, layers of reverberated noise and distortion drenched vocals. 

This follow-up release is expanded by four excellent remixes by UNCONSCIOUS (IT), EKATA (UK), VIDEOTRAUM (DE) and RICARDO LAINE (CAN). "WOMB II" ends with the sinister and hallucinatory-like ambient track “Born Again, Fragmented” While the previous album is more introspective and explores our relationship with the divine, intertwined with existential dread, "WOMB II" concisely embraces the other side - along the lines of madness, chaos, and the terrifying freedom that comes from tearing reality apart.
