The third and last episode of TIGERCAST for 2023 features @MANASYt. 

Bulgarian dark mastermind MANASYt/Sam Lowry (Petar Tassev) has been rocking his own brand of  Nurolektro since 2003. 

He’s responsible for a vast array of menacing titles on labels such as Bunker, Touchin' Bass, Kommando 6, Musar and about 40 other labels worldwide. 

An artist that couldn’t care less about trends nor hypes, and whose main driving force is that authentic passion for the genre.

Some of his tunes resemble a future horror movie soundtrack, others a visit to a mental clinic but most sound like what exactly hostile aliens would listen to while attacking Earth.

Currently based in Xiamen, China.

Monodroids is the project by the Athens-based DJs and producers @fro-666 and @RLCT .
Both having more than 10 years of experience behind the decks, the duo combines their forces to achieve finely tuned electro assaults, both in their productions and DJ sets.

5th TIGERCAST episode with EKATA

EKATA is a London based DJ/Producer + Natural Selection Resident who's productions are characterised by their dark and atmospheric soundscapes, driven by pulsating rhythms and intricate synth work.

Determined to create music that is unearthly, idiosyncratic, emotional and exuding futurism of that of a sci-fi film, she always ensures a story is to be told in each track she produces.
She mainly sticks to the dark and eerie side of Electro/Techno in her productions & gigs, where she will take you on a dark and twisted journey through incredibly dystopian, ominous grooves and obvious sci-fi fixations which embody her carefully picked selections. 

With her first release 'VIRYA' coming out on Avoidant at the end of 2022, She has had an unstoppable start to her production journey, already releasing on some of the best Electro labels out there;  Burial Soil, CHP Recordings, Cybersoul,  Furatena, Mars Frequency Records, Native Boundaries, Urban Connections and most notably her first solo release on Censor records in Jan 2024.

There's a lot more to be expected from EKATA this year, with releases scheduled on several labels and also her first tour outside of Europe planned for spring/summer this year.

Grid User (@artem-kres) is a young and aspiring producer/DJ from Ukraine. Grid User started his musical production journey with a track for a compilation on the Greek label called Tiger Weeds. Shortly thereafter he released the EP entitled 'Codes & Symbols' with another Ukrainian producer called Alex Gordiy.  He specifically called out 'modern dark Electro' and classic Electro as the direction his music will take in the future. He has new music that will soon be released on a handful of labels as well. TIGERCAST stands as an engaging monthly podcast series, streaming on Fade Radio.
Its primary mission is to provide a platform for a wide-ranging spectrum of artists, each contributing to the elaborate and diverse landscape that defines the immersive realm of Electro.

Grid User (real name Artem Kres) is a Ukrainian producer and DJ. He is the founder of the newly launched label Connectome Records, dedicated to electro. Artem’s first appearance was on New World Vol. 2 with a collaboration track alongside ELEKTROTECHNIK. Since then, he has released music on Mystictrax and through a couple of self-releases. He is already involved in various collaborations and projects with artists from the electro scene. Currently, he is working on new releases and developing his own label. This mix was recorded especially for the label with love. Electro don’t stop.

Сьогодні у нас мікс електро та ламаних бітів від діджейкині з Одеси - Electra. 
Вона встигла пограти у багатьох містах України (Київ, Львів, Вінниця, Івано-Франківськ, Тернопіль, Чернігів), а також за кордоном у Кишиневі. Була резидентом клубу tsekh.33 в рідній Одесі, коли він ще існував.
Electra: "Люблю такі жанри, як брейкбіт (135-150bpm), електро (135-145bpm) та експериментальні ламані ритми (110-160bpm). Я вважаю, що неповторне звучання кожного жанру і їх поєднання дає змогу створювати нові сенси і проживати унікальні досвіди. У подальшому я бачу себе не тільки диджеєм, а й продюсером. Над чим зараз активно працюю і навчаюсь створенню музики".
Цей мікс створено із легшого музла, ніж ми зазвичай просуваємо, та настрій який створила Electra дуже в тєму із такою чудовою погодою, як от нарешті є зараз.

Today we have a mix of electro and broken beats by Electra - DJ from Odesa.
She managed to play in many cities of Ukraine (Kyiv, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Chernihiv), as well as abroad in Chisinau. She was a resident of the tsekh.33 club in her native Odessa, when it still existed.
Electra: "I love genres such as breakbeat (130-150bpm), electro (135-145bpm) and experimental broken rhythms (110-160bpm). I believe that the unique sound of each genre and their combination allows you to create new meanings and live unique experiences. In the future, I see myself not only as a DJ, but also as a producer. Which is what I am currently actively working on and learning to create music."
This mix is ​​made of lighter music than we usually promote, but the mood that Electra created is very in line with such wonderful weather, as we finally have now.

No Hope, No Fear is a new vinyl series in our catalogue combining 4 artists and a nod to the legendary Slovenian band Borghesia and our apocalyptic times.

Swedish duo Harlem Electronics is responsible for the meaty opening track Versausage, where minimal wave meets industrial funk. Fear side is rounded by American Kri family member Ole Mic Odd, returning with his signature haunting electro gloom.

Hope side doesn't necessarily offer hope but sure does help with escapism. Slovenian partner in crime 198319831983 gives an apt comment while twisting electro and EBM on Trustno1. The record finishes on a "high" note with the legendary Cute Heels ft. Duke MC Herton for peak-time club decadence. No Hope, No Fear!

Nachtwald is an alias of Dutch cult figure Johnny Hoorneboeg. His music is a dark and experimental take on what he calls "deep-fried electro" and is heavily inspired by the DIY driven legacy of the 1990s/2000s The Hague squat scene (West Coast Sound of Holland) with artists like Legowelt, Rude66, IF etc. Since mid-2024 he has issued the Delete The Internet EP (Roulette Rekordz) and the Call Me Back EP (New York Haunted) under his project name: Nachtwald. Each balancing raw synth energy with eerie minimalism. His tracks like "Hit The Streets" have earned rotation on Dave Clarke’s White Noise and placement in underground European tip compilations.


Dutch producer Nachtwald (aka Johnny Hoorneboeg) returns with his "BioStabil 2000" EP. This six-track release explores the strange legacy of the famed BioStabil 2000 necklace, sold on Dutch teleshopping 25 years ago with claims of magnetic healing powers. Channeling the raw energy of the ’90s/’00s West Coast Sound of Holland scene, the EP traces BioStabil’s journey from miracle cure to pop-cultural myth, blurring the lines between authentic remedy and snake-oil spectacle.
