Originally from Paris, Kalsx spent his youth learning violin and music theory in a conservatoire. In fond of science and artificial intelligence, he soon discovers a new interest for electronic music, which he appreciates both the abstract aspect and the countless possibilities it offers.

As time goes by, he is progressively driven by a strong desire to create and starts writing his first compositions at the age of 22. Inspired by several movements derived from techno music and his classical background, Kalsx develops a deep and eminently melodic style with pronounced psychological patterns. His music is the result of a work of introspection, between dreams and illusions.

DJ, producer and composer, Ben C is an emerging artist of the
French scene. From an early age, his pronounced passion for electronic
music drove him to the turntables.
At the age of 21, he creates his first compositions and develops a
demanding style. Focusing his efforts on neat sound design and
rhythmics, Ben C gradually asserts his minimal and progressive style. With
a strong esthetic sense, he progressively instills an inimitable, vivid, and
bewitching spirit to his tracks.
In 2017, he begins to make a name for himself thanks to his
captivating mixes, results of an intense musical selection. In the
meantime, Ben C releases some of his titles like "Magic Circus" and "Lost
in my Dream", receiving an enthusiastic welcome from his fans.

I use this page to release a combination of individual tracks and archives of my radio show (Subterranean Homesick Grooves).  I will also be releasing most tracks as full-length, full-quality, and available to download, although I have a few other projects that I'm working on that unfortunately won't be available here as free downloads.  You'll mostly be able to find progressive & tech house tracks here, as well as the occasional deep house or drum & bass track.  I appreciate your interest, and I'd like to invite you to "follow" me if you're a SoundCloud user yourself.

Unfortunately, I'm very backed up with an overwhelming amount of studio projects, so I'm unable to respond to requests to review DJ sets.  Just not enough time, sorry!

For individual tracks, I'll even post download links to my entire project files, so other producers can download them, dissect what I did, and maybe (hopefully) even learn a trick or two!  I use a mix of Ableton, Pro Tools, Cubase, and Reason for most of my work.  I have releases on Beatport from Coldwave Records, Thirteen Towers, It's Not A Label, Smart Phenomena, Cuete, and other labels.
