      Hi. I am Brian Baker, a former excecutive from Yoshitoshi/Shinichi/Yo/DCI Recordings; owned by international recording artist Deep Dish. I was part the label's management team, which included web managed sales at www.yoshop.com; the Amazon.com consignments, physical music distribution, email marketing and promotions. I also A&R'd potenial new artists. Fast paced, inspiring work. 
      
      muggRoar (Artist/Music/Media )is an indie based music production/sound design. It is created, produced, and operated by Brian Baker 
      I have been a DJ since 1979 and produced original material since 1998. I am currently involved in remix production. I record under studio names "muggRoar (formally Punchcar), 'AudioMaul' (Avant Garde), and 'Pumpmug' (formally 'H-B Squared'). Multi-Genre music projects range from original songs, DJ mixed sets, performance art, events and more. 
      I also collaborated with DC's DJ veteran Derek Blackburn aka Orion D., and music research sales manager for the great "12" Dance Records" Store in Washington DC. 
      
      I am always looking for opportunities in the music field perspective.

Grew up on country and pop music. I love singing and songwriting,. I've met and talked with a few of the greats like Dolly and Johnny Cash - something I will treasure always. If I can, in my lifetime, be half as good as they, then I won't have failed. I love all genres of music; especially music and lyrics that grab the heart. I enjoy writing with other songwriters. I love it when a song takes on its own life and evolves into something greater than was intended. My goal is not to be famous, but to share my songs and sing my heart out for those who listen. Wow! The world is filled with great entertainers. I'm grateful to be even a small part of it. My hats off to all the singer/songwriters out there working hard to make their dreams come true! Im originaly from Modesto California but move to phoenix Arizona after my parents split up..iv always had a itch for music writing my first verse at age 10 been writing ever since one had over 50 pages front and back in a note book but threw it out wen i felt it was old material..music has always been a big part of who i am i would listen to it in rough times in my life and it would help me get by can honestly say it saved my life....iv alwayz dreamed of making it big nit only for me but for everyone around me i wish to help family friends ect...still haven't been in a studio but do help im now receiving itz a very reachable goal...my older sistet has already beat me to it recording a song wich is on YouTube and doin good hits and share she sings and raps very good as well inspiring me to push harder....i once recorded on a casset tape with friends for fun..before i knew it i wld go over there house and wld have ppl who never met me say if that was me wuch i replied yes and they wld tell me i was dope and should record something fast forward nine yrs later im were im at today. .iv made some short songs with the help of my cousin in stocktone California san juan who is a well known producer..he has kept me motivated to keep writing sending me beats cover photos ect...so far i got two songs but there are plenty to come .i want to make a album about my life and struggles i been through in my life to help ppl get by something alnost everone can relate too..so keep a ear out cause i plan on bringing something new to the table reality not cars money and stuff i dont have for im in the struggle as well so i know ppl will feel were im coming from. .
