New Growth

Rise up through tired winter beds,
A leaf or two at first, and then...
An eruption of yellow and green
The splendor of nature's birthday suit
Comes clean again.

The forest shows the way to spring,
this rebirth, will rebirth, our rebirth.
And so tired eyes rub themselves awake,
To plant naked dancing feet 
Upon this Evergreen floor. 

We as a community come side-by-side
Circled up, and ready to ride,
This wave, this journey, this cycle.
With nature as our guide,
Our rebirth, will rebirth, this new earth.

I recorded this set on April 3, 2022 for the Asheville Movement Collective were I reside as a facilitator and mix maker. The set was crafted with me pulling an all nighter the night before to design the wave and practice it, and then I played it live with a few adjustments to fit the vibe of the dance floor. 

All of the artist names and track titles are noted by me in the comments. Mahalo to all the musical artists and the many cultures that helped produce the music I use to craft this journey. 

I'm also happy to share a poem I wrote as an intention to this Sunday morning dance. Blessings to all those who honor the act of dance as medicine.

We met in Koh Phangan Thailand few years ago
and was allways inspired by he's deep shamanic sound journeys
with exotic instruments.
I was very inspired by this live journey to make a remix from it.
I played it in my Ecstatic dance journeys last months
and now finally its ready to share to the world

Tikki Masala - Unplugged are recordings from concerts and jam sessions with mouth harps, drums, percussion, Guitar, Didgeridoo, Hang, Sitar, Santoor, Tabla and other instruments.
the project started while traveling in India where Tikki masala met travel musicians and played nice jams and concerts. Apart from the Tikki masala - Indian electronic fusion project, the unplugged project is mainly instrumental. 
Tikki Masala is playing Mouth harp , Dan moi , Hmoung harp, Angkuoch, Didgeridoo and percussion, swarmandal, flute.
Fusing together with other world instruments.
Playing Tribal Dance, Natural Trance, Ethnic fusion, Jazz, Shamanic, Contemporary, and Improvisation music. 
The project is growing and aiming for playing at Concerts and festivals.
First Festival will be World Mouth harp Festval in Arambol India from 30 jan to 1 feb.
