Ben Ohr is a Canadian producer, composer, pianist, and engineer creating emotionally charged electronic music that blurs genre and form. Fusing glitch, trap, IDM, ambience, shoegaze, and art-pop, his sound is unified by hypnotic vocal treatments, fractured melodies, and immersive atmospheres. Lyrically abstract yet deeply personal, his work explores identity, coming of age, self-help, and the fragmentation of digital life. His debut album, bet, introduced a vivid world of maximal highs and fragile lows — a sound restless, reflective, and unmistakably tied to the generation it speaks for. In October 2025, Ohr released his first vocal-forward project, components of digital err, leaning further into emotional maximalism and his DIY internet origins, tracing the connection between sound, friendship, and memory. The 28-track album stands as a document of his life: a constellation of voices, glitches, and ecstatic peaks woven through the minimal and the chaotic. Created after years of nonstop experimentation, collaboration across distance, and quiet persistence without recognition, it captures the modern artist’s condition — building worlds online and waiting for a response in the static.
