Shakuhachi Meditation Practice

A Collection of compositions for Japanese and Indian Bamboo flutes, 
the Shakuhachi, the Bansuri, and other wind instruments. 

This suite of contemporary pieces is written in a post modern deconstructured style  that was inspired by the authors relationship with organized religion. 

Spiritual texts, their respective authors and the communities of faith that inspired these Guru's provided a vehicle of self expression to the composer, giving him a chance to, while at the same time defying their call for unity and love, expressing their call for love and unity in a decisive and individualistic way. The Yin/Yang of making sawdust.

The religious has no meaning when pushed into a corner.
Then {you} will behave exactly like everyone else. 
So this culture, your values, religious or otherwise
haven't touched a bit there.

Wanting to change your material life into that so-called religious pattern given to you, is destroying the possibility of your living in harmony and accepting the reality of this material world exactly the way it is.

You can have the courage to climb mountains, swim the lakes, go on a raft to the other side of the Pacific Ocean. That any fool can do. But the courage to be on your own, to stand on your own two solid feet, is something which cannot be given by somebody.
