Don't Eat The Cereal

When you think of the earth’s most peaceful and graceful inhabitants, surely sea turtles are one of the first creatures to come to mind. Turtles have been revered in many cultures for their perceived wisdom and longevity. In ancient Chinese, Indian and some indigenous North American mythologies, a turtle (or its legs) carried the world on its back - the ultimate symbol of stability. And of course they’ve also been celebrated as youthful sewer-dwelling, pizza-eating mutant ninjas. Real-life sea turtles have been badly impacted by plastic pollution. Turtles eat plastic bags mistaking them for jellyfish, or die getting tangled in plastic and fishing wire. Almost all species of sea turtle are endangered. That is the reason we want to do something about it. Proceeds from the release will go to Ocean Conservancy to help protect them.
