Though, while Jade's sound isn't unlike one you'd have become accustomed to hearing in a warehouse of late '80s Chicago, this hasn't stopped the young talented London DJ from representing her unique spin on that style.
With her skills turning heads wherever she plays and an ever uncompromising realness to the music, she progressively built a following on London's pirate radio airwaves, then her production on labels such as Robsoul Recordings, Cross Section, and her own Shakedown Avenue imprint, have enabled her to push the style she truly loves and believes in!

Tilman is a DJ, producer and label owner based in Mainz, Germany. After running the Klamauk label for quite a while already in a successful way he also takes care of Fine, the label he runs with Johannes Albert.

Tilman is positive all the way, not just regards his music, but as well as a person. Coming from the hip hop background, making his way through house, soul, disco and funk he now is where he is. Displaying a huge variety of sounds and styles. Always been a part of the Rhein-Main club scene Tilman played an essential role in having his own club nights as well as gigs all over Europe and North America. As a child, he enjoyed drum and piano lessons, which helped him a lot to get a good sense of rhythm, melodies, and harmonies.

In the last years he started producing music, mostly using his favorite synths, drum machines and samples to release House Music not only on his own imprints, but also on Faces Records, Tenderpark, Quality Vibe, Needs to name a few. You can say, that 2018 was a positive turning point in his career. After the success of his “Love EP“ on Fine and “In My Mind EP“ on Faces the word has spread and so he is travelling a lot as a DJ now. He seems to run on more powerful batteries than the rest of us, so take a listen to his adventure through dance music, new and old on many podcast mixes for Ninja Tune, Sloth Boogie, Rinse FM or LA based Far Away.

Since its launch in 2016, FWR has been dealing records online and at record fairs around the country. It wasn’t until 2018 that head honcho, Flat White Chris decided to start releasing records under the Flat White name, and launched as a label.
Already with eight releases to its name, the label has showcased talents such as Jacques Renault, Last Nubian, Garrett David, Byron The Aquarius, Felipe Gordon, (to name a few) as well as Flat White Chris himself. 
The label prides itself on championing up and coming artists from around the globe, as well as those from the UK and specifically, Leicester City. 
So far, releases have been played by Gilles Peterson on BBC Radio 6Music, had features with the likes of Dj Mag and Mixmag, as well as being stocked by record stores all over the world. 
Back in October 2018, Chris launched his very own label night in Leicester, Flat White Fridays. This has been a resounding success with Chris’s 6+hour vinyl sets establishing a real following in less than a year. Monthly bookings (past and future) include Felipe Gordon, Kassian, Cleanfield, City Fly Records, Danny Langan and of course, SlothBoogie.
The mix includes a mix of new, old and forthcoming tracks, a couple of which will be out on FWR in the very near future. I like to think this is the sort of noise you can expect if you were to come to one of the Flat White label nights in Leicester.

Adult Hits makes dance music that sweats, mutates, and smiles back at you. A co-founder of Sensory Signal and a fixture in the Los Angeles underground, he builds worlds from percussion — grooves that start as a pulse and end as possession. His sound leans toward the playful and the psychedelic: prog swung through breaks, acid melted into color, humor folded into hypnosis. There’s always a wink in the chaos, a kind of sly confidence that comes from knowing exactly how the room will move.

Attitude Drums EP packs a sassy, proggy punch square in the chest. Euphoric wobbles and wibbly ear~candy collide with psy~esque licks and naughty breaks. No rest for the wicked, Adult Hits flirts across the EP with raw personality; his locked-in percussion, trippy pads and nasty vocal chops carry the floor effortlessly.
