Klamauk is back and ready to drop their second release of 2017 with their very own Tilman. The German artist brings us his second release on Klamauk and has already turned heads with a string of quality records on Fine, Tenderpark or Quality Vibe Records and this current release is up to his usual high standards channelling deep, sample driven house vibes.

The 4 Track EP kicks of with “Work It”, a sample driven house track which surely will be a hit on the dancefloor. “Sophisticated” uses a lighter touch with a nice percussion rhythm, a funky bassline and an overall happy feeling. Over on the B side we have “Moments”, a warm and open groover with a nice piano melody. In “If I Could See You sometimes” Tilman takes us into deeper fields with lovely chords and a groovy sub bass.

In the A1 slot of the tenth and latest release from Tilman's own imprint, Klamauk, is "Work It", the track most closely aligned in title to the EP. It's a solid number that pays tribute to French disco house via looping disco guitar chords and 909 beats. The samples themselves endure some clever length changes and filter-work (like any good French affair!) to accentuate the dancefloor pleasure, building and revealing to create variation and tension. The track could honestly fit right in with the beefed-up edit style of Fine, but sits nicely in this package of sample-based house joints.

She watched him leave. His car drove slowly up the road and into the distance as the rain began to fall with a harmonic pitter patter. She was left alone once again, in the empty house surrounded by the walls that haunted and twisted between them. There was little left in her heart, she just wished that she could see him sometimes. Perhaps it was supposed to be this way, distant and sad. She sat at the table and watched the outside world float by through the glass. 

Tilman returns to release on Klamauk for the second time. He brings with him his golden take on deep house and orchestrates a careful assortment of charmed pads and samples.

PREMIERE: Tilman - If I Could See You Sometimes [Klamauk]

A FH favorite artist, Tilman returning to a FH favorite label, Klamauk could be nothing other than good vibes really, could it? Well, yes - good vibes they are, with another stellar offering from the diligently vibesum German. From front to flip, Tilman's 'Let's Work it Out' EP almost chronologically toys with the dance floor journey - turning up the heat with the club ready, energetic A-side and easing down with the B-sides post-3am melancholic flavor.

This feature's "Moment's" hits with warmth from the off - filling the entirety of mix's bottom-end with moody rhodes and licked with a soft, surging sub. This is later adjoined with a silky piano melody intertwined with detroit-esque vocal shouts - filling the upper end of the mix with silky sweetness. In a nutshell "Moment's" is a real warming umami broth of a jam - salty-sweet, bowl slurping kinda' shit.
