I was waaay too slack with uploading this to Soundcloud, but hey, in light of my upcoming closing set this weekend I decided to kick my ass into gear.

Heres my speel about this mix: 
Hey guys! A bit late with this one but here's my closing (mini Boiler Room) set from Resurgence at Sub Rosa Brisbane last month. I say "mini Boiler Room" because the amount of people that end up in the booth and the antics that take place throughout the set are both fantastic and hilarious.

Dancing was back [again] and we were ready for a wild night (side note: I'm very thankful to have been able to play both Saturday nights that dancing came back in Queensland). This was high energy, deep, dark and heavy with some melodic breaks here and there and I loved every second of it! I finally got to let loose and showcase some of the heavier stuff I'm into, and boy did I have fun with it. 

The set followed the amazing Avana Cruise (the first ~3 mins of the video is Avana leading out) and I played from 1:30am 'till close. 3am rolled around and I had to cut my last track (as you'll see in the end) due to noise restrictions etc., but the crowd was chanting "one more track!". The vibe was so electric and people were still raring to go, it was the best feeling ever!

More on me:
I am an average 27 year old guy with a passion for music and a love for Deejaying. I may be an amateur as it stands but I'm always looking for different ways to improve my sound and make my mixing tighter and cleaner. I do this because I genuinely, wholeheartedly, love doing it and nothing else feels as good as it does. Nothing compares to the universal, unspoken language of emotion through sound. I love being able to use this as an outlet for what I feel and I love being able to let other people share in those feelings with me.

My forté is House Music in general, more specifically, I'm a huge fan of Progressive House (The REAL Progressive House). I grew up listening to John Digweed, Nick Warren, Deep Dish, Sasha and Satoshi Tommiie, to name a few, and always loved the vibe and emotion they put out. So mainly Progressive/Techno/Deep House with some Trancy undertones. Recently I've also been into industial/indie/experimental techno and electronica. 

Deep house was a big part of my childhood and, to this day, I feel nothing beats a proper, soulful, deep house track. I think this stemmed from my love of Jazz, Soul and R&B as well.

With that said, I'm also into a lot of stuff that can't be categorised. 

Recently learned to mix vinyl, been deejaying since 2007, learning to produce soon.
