April Kerry is a name who has risen to become one of the
most sought-after talents in the modern techno scene. With
her arsenal of raw, hypnotic, and hard-groove techno, April
has carved out a unique path for herself that has taken her to
some of the largest festivals and events all over the country.
Her journey began with her debut release “Serpent” on
Recovery Collective. 

April has shared stages with some of the biggest names in the business, including Thomas Schumacher, Carl Cox, Ben Klock, Bart Skils, ReinerZonneveld, Shlomo, Trym, and Alan Fitzpatrick, among others. She has been a regular fixture on the lineup of some of the
most iconic events in the music scene, including PURE Carl
Cox, Tell No Tales, Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival,
Earth Frequency Festival, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, and Bohemian
Beatfreaks.

Despite her busy schedule, April’s been working in the studio
as much as in the booth, bringing her worlds together and
forging a musical language that is uniquely her own. Her
dedication and talent have earned her a legion of fans who
eagerly anticipate her next move.

April's recent performance at Piknic Electronic before Ben
Klock at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, as well as her feature
on Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave Radio, are just two
examples of her rising success. With her incredible talent,
captivating performances, and unwavering dedication to her
craft, it's no wonder that April is considered one of the most
potent artists in the techno scene today.

Tilt Shift sits firmly left of center, a difficult-to-label square peg that unintentionally fails to fit a pigeonhole. Borrowing from the photography term, Tilt Shift refers to two different types of movement, a selective focus with a large depth of field used to control perception. This can be applied to our music policy, tilting the vertical axis resulting in a sharp area of focus without reducing the depth of field. The selective focus that can be achieved by both tilting and shifting movements, It's compelling because the effect is different from that which you may have become accustomed to. This movement is often used to avoid the convergence of parallel lines, or as we have come to think of it, it’s where the lines blur.

My monthly mixes will have some surprises for you as I show some sides of myself I haven’t before.

This first mix has many of my summer highlights including Samoh’s „Slave To Society“ which has this has this crazy acidy energy which works so well within my sets and Luciid’s ‘Era Of Us’ which was released on my label EXHALE Records.

You’ll also hear Anna’s remix of one of my favourite 90’s classics of all time - Niels van Gogh’s - Pulverturm. I really love the energy of that track. It’s a classic!

This month's mix casts a spell right from the start with a hypnotic track from Lucinee's latest EP, 'Drift'. 
From there, it's pure energy, with A*S*Y*S delivering a powerful rework of the iconic 'Acid Phase', one of my all-time favourite French techno anthems from the '90s. That '90s vibe pops up throughout, especially on tracks from KI/KI and SWART. 

Bringing things right up to date, I have included 'Croton', the latest release from Milo Spykers on LENSKE, and one of my current favorites.

To close out the hour, I have something fresh that has just been released - 'Falling for You'.
