BDE has become more than just a moniker - and for good reason. Mastering the art of engaging her audience, she is quickly earning recognition for her commanding stage presence and dynamic mixing style. As the creator of Area 3000 radio's Rave Cave, she is committed to providing platforms for both emerging and established artists, unapologetic about staying true to her love of the darker sounds that have inspired her.

Her passion for empowering others translates onto the dance floor, as her trademark dominance is unmistakable in her driving and atmospheric performances. A BDE set urges you to give in to the moment or it is sure to be a bumpy ride. She invites you to surrender to the experience, to get lost in the story, and rave your worries away.

Whilst her sound is always evolving, she maintains her trademark love for rhythmic acid leads, psychedelic vocal samples, and pulsating drums. Expect banging basslines and explosive drops as she oscillates between dark, driving techno, psy-techno, and hard trance/techno, infusing each track with her unapologetically fiery and feminine touch.

Tilt Shift sits firmly left of center, a difficult-to-label square peg that unintentionally fails to fit a pigeonhole. Borrowing from the photography term, Tilt Shift refers to two different types of movement: a selective focus with a large depth of field used to control perception. As we have come to think of it, it’s where the lines blur

Since our debut as Tilt Shift in 2017, we facilitated events at a variety of the city's most reputable late-night haunts like Revolver, Boney, Section 8 & New Guernica. In this time we have hosted & toured artists such as: Marvin & Guy, Curses, The Hacker, Tronic Youth & Timothy Clerkin

As the creator behind a bold new rave series - THROB, BDE champions femme/LGBTQI/BIPOC artists through curated showcases in Naarm and beyond—putting inclusivity and opportunity at the heart of her mission, while staying true to her love for the darker sounds that have always inspired her. 
Rooted in techno’s depths yet immune to genre constraints, BDE’s sets are adrenaline-fueled excursions, as her real talent can be witnessed in the depths of her dance floor. She prefers to take her listeners on a high octane, dynamic journey, effortlessly oscillating between hypnotic, acid, hard, minimal, driving and psychedelic techno. 
Expect the unexpected with a BDE set. Or expect her to hijack you into an unapologetically charging, transcendental experience from the very first drop. 
With a name like that, it is only fair that she live up to it.

Tilt Shift endeavour to promote an environment that feels safe and welcoming, somewhere which you don’t have to wrestle with the struggles of the day. No racism, sexism, homophobia or any discriminatory attitudes will be tolerated. We also care that the music is good and genres are blurred. Put away your phone and dance with us.

Surreal and tangible, defiant yet dependable, Caity’s sets blur the lines between meditative and menacing. Known for her hypnotic, groove-driven and psychedelic sound, Caity’s sets rely on dark atmospheres, interesting percussion, oscillating leads and heavy low end, while never compromising on swing. Expect deep layers, rolling low end and driving energy with a feminine and ethereal edge, no matter the BPM.

Caity has brought her unique style to iconic Naarm events like Melbourne Techno Collective, Plexus and Technoir, at top venues such as Revolver, Sub Club and My Aeon. She is also a resident for Naarm record labels Anomalie Collective and Beaufort Beats.

Coming off the back of several recent headline shows including Black Noir (Sydney), 9NINETRAX (Sale), her curated hypnotic showcase (Belgrave), her first headline show (My Aeon) as her dark/psy alias 'Fairy Ring', and her first 'All Night Long' show at Headquarters in Singapore, Caity has become a staple in the underground techno circuit.

Through her event series ‘150 BPM’ and ‘150% Live’, Caity focuses on platforming women & FLINTA* artists, spotlighting live hardware performers and nurturing those who seek community within her local scene. Caity is dedicated to inclusivity, advocacy, connection and music with purpose.
