This frequency and chord progression is nice. It reminds me sort of full metal jacket, especially the cmin to bmaj to fmaj. One of my favorite progressions in music. I never get tired of the whole tone scale over this

This is really effective at suggesting a kind of mechanical weight and distance, embodying as it does a combination of pent up power with the separation of a dull, or even soporific expanse. Highly appealing.

"Creak" is based mainly on a sample of a door creaking. Whatsoever the door provides entry to or exit from is not important; what is important, is that the door makes a wonderful creaking sound when you open (or indeed, close) it.
