I wrote this song on May 30, 2021 during the Memorial Day weekend. It's an improvisational take on the famous military song "Taps". I played the "Taps" theme twice, improvised the middle section, and then ended with a slower and quieter version of the theme. When I first played the song, I knew I had to record it because it brought tears to my eyes. I dedicate this song to the servicemen and women who are currently serving or have served, and to those who lost their lives defending our country. Thank you for your service!

I tried something different with the left hand in this song. Since I wrote it at the beginning of autumn in 2022 (9/24/22) the name came easily.

I improvised this song in D flat major on Sun 5/21/23. It reminded me of someone or something knocking gently in your consciousness. Peace is knocking at your thought. Answer the door!

I tried a new disco inspired left hand for this song. It’s my most upbeat dance song that I’ve ever written so far. I hope it brings joy to your day. Shoutout to my nephew Wyatt for naming the tune. He said it reminds him of running around during the day doing a bunch of activities and then when it slows down at the very end the day is over and time for bed.

Whatever trials you’re going through in your life, never give up hope! Things will get better. You are loved and life is always worth living! If you’re reading this now I might not know you, but never forget you are loved, loving, and loveable. This song is dedicated to anyone struggling and may it bring a little bit of peace to your day.

I had fun on Sun 10/20/24 improvising a theme and incorporating in between the classic Amazing Grace.  I do this a lot where I’ll play a song people know then go off script for a little bit until I arrive home at the melody.  I hope it brings some peace to your day.

This is an original piano solo that came to me one day in Oct 2016 while I was improvising.  I thankfully recorded myself playing the melody and later wrote it down. This is the 2nd version of my piano solo that I recorded for my wife Kathy.  This version is a little over 3 minutes and is a slower tempo then the original recording.  The improvisation section is different then the 1st recording. I wrote this song in October 2016 after the melody came to one day while I was improvising on the piano.
