Tim Denbo, veteran road and session bassist, has loved and played music as long as he can remember.  While growing up in Indianapolis, Indiana, Tim was constantly hearing the melody and rhythm in everything.  His musical training began with the Piano at age 8, and by 16 he was playing cello, double bass, electric bass and guitar. 

 Tim studied music education and double bass at the prestigious Indiana University School of Music, and holds an honors degree in jazz bass performance from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.  

Since moving to Nashville in 2003, Tim has played with many artists covering a wide range of styles, from country artists Doug Stone and Natalie Stovall, to guitar icon Phil Keaggy and Christian artist Joy Williams.  In 2007 Tim earned a Grammy nomination with LynnMarie and the Boxhounds.

Music has also taken Tim all over the world in the last 10 years.  He has played all over the United States as well as two trips to Europe and most recently a three night stint with The Bossa Nova Hotel (Janey Clewer, Bruce Gaitsch, and Michael Sembello) at the Cotton Club in Tokyo, Japan.

Tim is bassist and vocalist for Calico Trail while also still playing many sessions and showcases for up and coming artists around Nashville. 

Kat Jones, is the front person of a Portland, OR based band called Kat Jones & The Prophets. Kat hails from the closely knit music scene of Fresno, CA by way of East Nashville, TN, where she worked with a whole other group of closely knit musicians and artists and began to set herself apart even more as a songwriter. 

Upon arriving in Portland, with a newly recorded album in hand, she formed Kat Jones & the Prophets to support her next record, titled "I Am Warm Young Blood" which is scheduled for independent release in 2013. It is an account of the apocalypse from the middle of the storm. This new record was recorded in a victorian mansion 3 weeks before leaving Nashville and features such notable songs as "Muevete," (a story of being rescued in the desert by birds and features Kat singing in spanish) and "Without A Sound" (a critically celebrated song which was featured in an acoustic e.p. she released in 2009 of the same title). 

Her previous full length, "La Rosa, La Calavera" was critically acclaimed and produced by Richard Swift (The Shins) and Frank Lenz (Starflyer 59, Richard Swift) and featured Richard on keys, Frank on drums and Eli Thompson of Everest on bass. A remastered version of this record (which was originally released by Velvet Blue Music) is scheduled for re-release in 2013.
