According to urban legend, the name Sean MoreBass was a nickname given to the artist by his peers.  The name itself arose from the idea that our culture has become obsessed with a certain range of frequencies.  This particular range of frequencies is said to cause a person to move spontaneously.  To celebrate this profound effect, individuals gather in large quantities, sometimes chanting, "More bass, more bass, more bass!"
